Another difference is that Detroit is already a hotbed of crime as it is.

Just an academic question to a lover of the Constitution....

From where in the Constitution does the federal government draw the authority to regulate a plant grown in Colorado, processed in Colorado, sold in Colorado and used in Colorado?

Kinda the same place that transgenders think they can't see what's between their legs. This issue should be left up the the states, just like many other things the federal government sticks it's nose into that it should not. We can't pick and choose which which authority supersedes another just because we don't agree with it.

Before the crackdown starts get all your ducks in row. Find out what banks, real estate, farms, stores, houses, investments, bank account needs to be seized. Anyone that had their hands in dope production and sales. They lose it all, jail time and massive fines.

These doped up (*)(*)(*)(*)ers have thumbed their nose at the fed gov too long.

Your posts don't reflect what you feel. I get a very angry vibe from most of your posts. Maybe you need to smoke more, post less.

Yeah, bad move. But Trump is a liberal, and we all know liberals want to control every aspect of your life.

    An excellent question.

Too bad that Trump will continue to fight a failed war on drugs.

If you want it to be easier for kids to get pot, make it illegal as drug dealers do not ask for ID's.

I doubt that criminals care about laws or sentences. Cut a supply line and it will just be replaced with another. Walls are not impassible obstacles. Decriminalization will do more to hurt the cartels than any prohibitive law or physical barrier.

Inhalation is not the only delivery means. You can micro dose with topical application, sublingual or edibles.

Back when America was still great there was the federal marijuana tax law and smoking a joint was fun back then. You knew you were breaking the law and were getting away with it. That's what made smoking pot so fun, you were shoving it to "the man."

Because it is costing us billions of dollars a year with no net gain.

Actually the onus for protecting LGBTQ persons lies in the 14th amendment since your animus clearly lies with their gender (apparent or otherwise) the 14th clearly applies when you try to use the government to discriminate against them.

    Please, though, try again.

I know of no State where it is legal to sell to kids. If you want to make it easier for kids to buy pot, then make or keep it illegal as drug dealers do not ask for ID's.

If anyone wants to know why Trump might force a Federal crackdown on pot, see above. A lot of the people who voted for him think just like slackercruster.

Ultra conservatives believe in simplistic answers to problems.

    Ban alcohol

    Just say NO - sex
    Just say NO - drugs

    Build that wall
    Ban those Muslims

I have yet to see conclusive data in the subject. Pot can also be used topically, sublingual or eaten.

OMG bro, just stop it! Of course there aren't, but that really never stopped the unscrupulous from EVER reselling it to minors!

As for this quip, I don't think I can elaborate on this without unintentionally insulting your intelligence, so I'm done :(

The issue is much larger than kids, the war on drugs costs us billions with no net gain. It is illogical by my measure of logic to continue to spend billions of dollars a year in a futile war on drugs. I think decriminalization and harm reduction programs are viable alternatives. Want to all but destroy the cartels, then decriminalize drugs and watch them shrivel.

I use marijuana for pain relief. Works better than the narcotic pain reliever I was on for six years that kills 44 people per day.

Are you arguing that alcohol does not "alter your reality"?
