Are you seriously claiming that the protection of a dictatorial Egypt is not in the best interests of Israel and the U.S?

 

I said it is only a direct benefit to Israel which does provide an indirect benefit to the US. And it wasn't the protection of a dictator that benefits Israel but instead the payment of protection money to Egypt in exchange for them agreeing to recognize Israels right to exist. The benefit would be present whether it is a dictator or liberal democracy that controlled Egypt's military.

 

Then why is Washington butting its nose into things, like for instance, why was Kerry making a big thing about Assad shooting at his own people? Isn't it obvious that it was to arm and support the rebels...since in Ukraine, Poroshenko is ethnically cleansing and committing genocide on his own people, and yet he's being armed by Washington?

Anyway it's the Al Queda 'moderates' trained in Jordan that turned into ISIS. More are now being trained in Turkey...and like the others they will take the toys Washington gives them, and join ISIS...that is unless they're given a Caliphate of their own.

 

Russia has oil, Venezuela has oil, and Iran has oil. Regardless of Washington's propaganda, none of those nations are aggressive...and they are trustworthy, so why isn't Japan allowed to buy from them?

It really seems to be a survival of the fittest struggle going on in Islam right now, with the fittest so far being the most ruthless and dominating. It is a battle of religious memeplexes, like the battle of Christian memeplexes against non-Christian religions in the past. Here the Alawites are at risk of being destroyed the same as pagans were once wiped out in Europe by the violent Christian Romans.

 

But I guess a major point would be…… that if the Alawite version of Islam is the most tolerant of other religions…….. could we have joined the wrong side in all this????!!!

 

Any time a muslim kills another muslim, it's a win-win for the human species. If we can just keep them killing each other until there is just one left; that would be a great idea. Then just ghost the last one and be done with it.

The people in those countries were living quite well...and there was no ethnic tensions until they were aroused by our foreign allies such as: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Assad was the most tolerant and secular leader in the Middle East, and he won by a large majority in the last election. I know Syrians who were bragging about Syria and how lovely it had become. I even know one family that moved back....

Libya was the wealthiest nation in Africa from what I heard, and the people had it quite well before Washington decided to destroy the country and their lives. As for Mubarak, he wasn't any worse than the other Egyptian leaders. My granddaughter visited then, and she loved Egypt...but then came the Muslim Brotherhood and the massacres of Copts and the burning of churches....

 

Libya has been a nightmare since Ghaddafi took over in 1969 and threw out their Constitution which guaranteed equality under the law regardless of tribe, ethnicity, race or religion.

Nonsense, it was the people of Syria who rose up against Assad, in response to his violent reaction to crack down on protesters.

 

The pagans were not wiped out, they were converted by the preaching and miracles of Christ's disciples and the saints that came after them. All that history was discarded by the Protestants, because of their anti Catholic views.

You should read the diary of Saint Patrick and what he encountered as a slave in Ireland. He was determined to convert and civilize them after he escaped. This didn't happen though just in Ireland, and he wasn't the only one. There are tens of thousands of saints, and there were shrines all over Europe. There still are in the Balkans, Russia and the Middle East.

So all this garbage about the Emperor Constantine forcing people to convert is nothing but Protestant revisionism, because after Constantine, there were pagan emperors.

I guess you're also going to tell me that Assad wasn't voted in as president by the Syrian people, and that Nuland and Pyatt weren't the ones who chose Ukraine's president.

 

This is what freaks me out about Washington, because they're not representing the American people in what they're doing. Part of what Washington is doing is explained in the Wolfowitz doctrine, but now our government has gone completely berserk. They're not only supporting genocide in Ukraine and the Middle East, but they're pushing for a war with Russia and China.

 

The Assad Regime is TOLERANT because he knows like his father before him that is the only reason we allow his Regime to exist.

Notice how one of the gurus of torture and slaughter claimed that Alawites are safe, and that Sunnis are the ones getting killed. The same claim was made in other US/Israeli/Saudi national subversions such as Yugoslavia, where the US assassinated one group to blame the other group.
And, since the US is supporting the slaughter of Syria, and created the disturbance in the first place with assassinations, we know that if there is a disporportionate killing of Sunnis in Syria, it is the US/UK/French/Saudi/Israeli/Turko backed terrorists doing it as they have done in other countries.

What a shame on America to have the war crazies in DC doing their best to destroy the root stock of European and American peoples, and the foundation stone of Western Civilization.....or what's left of it.
