Hey pinhead, where did I say Brazil? I'm referring to pre American slave trade on the European and African continents. Get with the game.

    They didn't necessarily need ships.

    Slavery in West Africa

In Senegambia, between 1300 and 1900, close to one-third of the population was enslaved. In early Islamic states of the western Sudan, including Ghana (750–1076), Mali (1235–1645), Segou (1712–1861), and Songhai (1275–1591), about a third of the population were enslaved. In Sierra Leone in the 19th century about half of the population consisted of enslaved people. In the 19th century at least half the population was enslaved among the Duala of the Cameroon and other peoples of the lower Niger, the Kongo, and the Kasanje kingdom and Chokwe of Angola. Among the Ashanti and Yoruba a third of the population consisted of enslaved people. The population of the Kanem (1600–1800) was about a third-enslaved. It was perhaps 40% in Bornu (1580–1890). Between 1750 and 1900 from one- to two-thirds of the entire population of the Fulani jihad states consisted of enslaved people. The population of the Sokoto caliphate formed by Hausas in the northern Nigeria and Cameroon was half-enslaved in the 19th century.

When British rule was first imposed on the Sokoto Caliphate and the surrounding areas in northern Nigeria at the turn of the 20th century, approximately 2 million to 2.5 million people there were enslaved.[4] Slavery in northern Nigeria was finally outlawed in 1936.[5]

    Slavery in North Africa

Elikia M’bokolo, April 1998, Le Monde diplomatique. Quote:"The African continent was bled of its human resources via all possible routes. Across the Sahara, through the Red Sea, from the Indian Ocean ports and across the Atlantic. At least ten centuries of slavery for the benefit of the Muslim countries (from the ninth to the nineteenth)." He continues: "Four million slaves exported via the Red Sea, another four million through the Swahili ports of the Indian Ocean, perhaps as many as nine million along the trans-Saharan caravan route, and eleven to twenty million (depending on the author) across the Atlantic Ocean"[22]

Medieval slave trade in Europe was mainly to the East and South: Byzantine Empire and the Muslim World were the destinations, Central and Eastern Europe an important source.[23] Slavery in medieval Europe was so common that the Roman Catholic Church repeatedly prohibited it—or at least the export of Christian slaves to non-Christian lands was prohibited at, for example, the Council of Koblenz in 922, the Council of London in 1102, and the Council of Armagh in 1171.[24] Because of religious constraints, the slave trade was monopolised in parts of Europe by Iberian Jews (known as Radhanites) who were able to transfer the slaves from pagan Central Europe through Christian Western Europe to Muslim countries in Al-Andalus and Africa.[25] So many Slavs were enslaved for so many centuries that word 'Slav' became synonymous with slavery. The derivation of the word slave encapsulates a bit of European history and explains why the two words (slaves and Slavs) are so similar; they are, in fact, historically identical.[

Most of the White people I've known and loved, have expressed something racist. Of course African Americans do it too. But I ask why, try to learn from it and honestly seek to affect their lives for the good of all.

That is real stuff going on, and I've seen it change lives.

Many African American I've known, DO indeed admit their racism/prejudice. Still, it is interesting to note the reasons for the same... it varies many times from the reasons why White Americans are racist (many individuals who are of minority descent, have been discriminated against directly by Whites). The HUMAN "effects" are the same, but knowing the reasons informs many of the solutions in certain situations.

No one really wants that label; some of the greatest offenders, don't want that label. Few want to REALLY deal with the feelings of hatred and prejudice ON-DEMAND; many people (thankfully) can and do soul-search themselves over time, and change without anyone really knowing they did. But no, finding people that will admit to that "openly" or "publicly" are rare (even though they may transmit all the characteristics in their words/actions).

LOL!!! You are joking here, right? (How are those words NOT racist?) Ha-Ha!! :)

    Geez! :)

Actually, that's just a very brief summary. The full story of the slave trade in Africa prior to the trans-Atlantic slave trade is considerably more disturbing.

Where African slaves were stuffed into slave ships for transport to the Americas during the trans-Atlantic slave trade, during the trans-Saharan slave trade, African slaves were yoked and then marched, on foot, across the Sahara desert to slave trading posts on the North African coast.

don't know about numbers but ya I've met racist blacks, orientals, Native americans, and many others ...every identifiable group has racists...the real irony is in scientific terms there are no races, we are all one race...just like dog is a dog regardless of bred and in the end dogs are still wolves...

Yeah, but with all the minority overprotection laws on the books such as affirmative action, hate crimes legislation, etc. etc. etc. in addition to the overtly politically correct culture we live in today, that doesn't really apply here, does it? In fact, considering that we even have a black president currently, you could probably make the argument that what's left of white racism would actually be the racism without power today.

That's not the point. You're changing the subject again. Can't you comprehend what you read?? What's the matter with you???

Anti-racists are disgusting and are contributing to the massive downfall of society by enabling savages to live amongst us.

    It's racist and accurate.

I have already admitted to being a proud racist. There's nothing wrong with racist. Multi-Culturalism doesn't work.

Look Mick, this has nothing to do with one's superiority complex or not, it has to do with owning up to the racial facts as outlined by Zook, myself and others here. If you have nothing to contribute, I suggest you stop your trolling immediately.

I'll stop trolling when threads like this stop giving me ammunition to work with. It's way too easy to be smartass here.

You troll because you have nothing of substance to add to a thread like this. You are empty headed, like most of your kind.

Based on what I saw in your OP there's nothing in this thread that has any substance, other than it being another "black people suck" bahsing thread. Come up with something we haven't seen, or go back to Stormfront.

This thread contains a legit question. Micfranklin is exactly the reason I refuse to discuss racial issues with black "people." He is deluded, empty-headed and has not the capability to add anything of substance to an intellectual debate.

Blacks are the most racist race on the planet, yet finding one that can admit to the label of "racist" is practically impossible.

Compare celebrities or television personalities. You can count on one hand the amount of White ones that have said something racist about blacks on one hand. And all have been thoroughly condemned and had their careers ruined by the Zionists who own the media. Then look at black celebrities, of which it'd be almost impossible to find any that haven't said a racist thing about Whites in the past. Jamie Foxxx, Tupac, Kanye West, Lauren Hill, Whoopi Goldberg, Dave Chappelle and even the freaking President of the United States Barack Obama. None would say "yeah, I'm a racist" though.

    This is a legit thread.

Sure, if you're a skinhead or something its a legit question but it's incredibly hard for me to add something of substance when the OP in question has no substance to begin with, just another "I hate black people" thread based on his sorrowful experiences that only racists seem to have on this forum.

And for the record, there's plenty of other threads in the Race forum that I've added quite a bit of substance too because the OP actually makes a legit, though disagreeable statement. If you refuse to do the same for this thread then I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about that.
