It's just an ancient Middle Eastern ethnocentric religious fairy tale based upon imaginary characters. If you want women to be popes then you should start your own modern day religious fairy tale where women can be the popes. It would be just as valid as any other ethnocentric religious fairy tale that unknown con men cooked up to enrich themselves with.

 

Such an idea is contrary to the biblical fairy tale. Therefore, if a person claims to believe in the Bible but says that he/she wants women in positions of leadership, they are expressing heretical opinions.

 

It has been tried before. Look up Anne Hamilton-Byrne, and then Edna Rose Ritchings.
They started off with good intentions, but then their movements got derailed and met with scandal.

 

Read the Bible. It says that men are better than women. Isn't it supposed to be the word of the God that you claim to worship?

In nature, women who live together naturally sync their menstrual cycles; obviously so that a man can spread his seed more; but western religion suppresses this saying marriage should be between 1 man and 1 woman.

In nature, it says that when you're dead, you're dead, however, this church says when you're dead, you're still alive.
In nature, it takes a man and woman to reproduce, but in religion, it says that Mary was a virgin who gave birth to Jesus.
If these lies wasn't a red flag, I don't know what is.

Sounds like this attack on the pope not being a woman is just a pretext to start tearing down the institution of Roman Catholicism.

No. That came from your mind. The catholic church and my church know that God created both man and woman in His image and they are both equally loved and treasured. He doesn't view a man or woman as "better" because of their position in society or line of work.

Instead, I get reason after reason why it's not the way and told to pick an equality battle somewhere else; if there is a God, I know the path to it isn't listening to a bunch of traditionalists who shun good ideas and make up excuses to not change and better itself.

 

No they don't have good reasons. It is sexist, plain and simple. But, I do agree with you that its their organization, and if people are voluntarily entering it, without say being brainwashed with threats of hell and bribed with rewards of heaven, and without indoctrinating children, then they should be allowed to be what they want and it isn't our business....

 

I read all this and... now I kind of want to see the Pope declare he is transitioning and becoming a woman. A trans Pope. I can imagine the rage and outcry. Cathedrals may explode from the screams of the clergy.
