THEN Dammmmn, what was it someone stated, Ignorance was it? ? - - - Updated - - - Srsly, do you ppl do it on purpose? Talking about iq's in haiti were you op?
I do not think they really describe the skin tone of the people in the bible... I believe they just talk about the people in ways that matter. Like their personality and their faith.
everyone has the right to read the Bible, especially since the New Testament is for all people, Jew & Gentile. as for the original Hebrews/Israelites/Jews....they were mostly a Caucasian people.
Prior to the 19th century there was no such ethnic group as caucasian (blumenbach). So thats obviously a false hood perpetuated by mainstream media. The Question then is, why would they push this deception?
Really one of the most worthless threads I have seen in a while, is there even a point to it, I see none.
The question rather then, why is the bible so popular with europeans when it is a history about Afrikan and Asian ppl? Thats a pretty straight forward question imo and an interesting one too.
Why did the hula Hoop sweep America in the '50's. Agressive PR, good profits & a product that is easy to use.
The Bible barely deals with black people, except when Sheba married Solomon. that's it. Now stop trying to turn the Bible into a Negro-centric racist fairy tale.
"The bible barely deals with black ppl". So says the person who not only dismisses the bible as fairytale but has probably never even opened the very Book! Dismissed.
i own the Bible. the only time it mentions black people is when it talks about Cush and the Ethiopians. and the Mark of Cain and the punishment of Ham.
Yeah Jonah has a very odd view of history. To him the Bible is about Africa, even though none of the New Testament happens in Africa, and only a small segment in the OT. It is a bizarre race view point I do not get. It would be like asking why Indonesians adopted Islam, even though Islam is all about arab people......
The Bible rarely mentions skin color. The mark of Cain has nothing to do with Black people, neither does the curse of Ham. That's something that White Supremacist propagandists interpreted the Bible to be saying. We don't know that Ham's descendants were Black. Some of his descendants resided in the Middle East while others like Egypt are clearly in Africa. I don't consider the Bible to be a reliable historical documented. It blends myth and history together with stories that are obvious fairytales that only the truly faithful buy in to.
many ppl claim that few have read it though. your latest post perfectly illustrates this. anybody who knows the book would point out your error, lets see who knows..... - - - Updated - - - here ronstar, this man knows the book, the curse of ham is a trap set by white racists and you fell in.
hey, if YOU can say white people only came into existence 500 years ago, King James was black, white people all have lepracy or albinism, all of Noah's sons were black, then I can say the curse of Ham was black skin.
The white gaze; is looking at the world through a white person’s eyes. In America it is everywhere. It is in history books, on billboards, on television, in films, in fashion magazines, on the Internet. It is the world as told by white people for white people.
is it a rule violation to pretend incessantly that somebody said something which they didnt? you got caught out now your violating forum rules. shame on you.
