I see outrage and disrespect are relative, especially when it comes to assessing who is patriotic and who isn't. Yet another behavioral convenience we humans seem to accept without a thought.
I don't see a quote of me promoting the wearing and crapping in flag themed underwear. Where is it? Prove your claim!
so you are consistent in your excoriation when you see people "denigrating" the flag? Or is it merely when its convenient to take a swipe at you ideological enemies?
Yep another nothing burger. A staple food of trumpland. You see any statues to Nazi heroes? You see any statues for South Vietnamese heroes? Traitors can be "heroic" in combat but they are still traitors. And glorifying slavers after the carnage of the civil war isn't about patriotism, its an artifact of racial bigotry. Seems many american patriots have no problem with infringing on other people's constitutional rights. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with your own nation's history of doing exactly that nor of the political and social battles with other american's who opposed such.
That's is actually the problem with both parties. The left labels the right as all racists and the right labels the whole left as unpatriotic baby killers. That being said, it's not an even exchange. The left still favors hive minded group think and the right still favors individuality Fyi..those sneakers looked nice and I really wanted a pair...shame the opinion of one liberal decided the fate of everyone's new sneakers
Consistent. Patches or pins are not disrespectful, unless worn inappropriately. Still waiting for a link to a post in which you claim that I support the wearing of flag themed underwear. Prove your claim!
I didn't claim, I specifically said " I guess". I'm sure you could actually tell the nuanced difference if you could get over your outraged butthurt.
We haven't Lost it. It still a popular fad just as it was in the 60's. The big difference is the internet and media. Everyone can put out an opinion for millions to see and the media picks up the ones that will sell and run with em. Bottom line if you had a one on one conversation with all these so called haters 80 of 100 would say they would rather live in the USA than anywhere else. 15 of those 20 who say they would leave, if they left would be back in 6 months to year.
I would bet he is just fine with flying the confederate flag, a flag of traitors to the United States.
Not quite. You still have republican senators voting against republican bills. (Why? because they have their OWN minds)...you won't see this on the left much You should be happy about this, the fact that the left puts winning before what is right means that ultimately they will dominate and the 3rd world socialist cesspool fantasy that most of the left fantasizes about has a pretty good chance of coming true. REJOICE!
I love my country, but do not love our government. I am grateful to live in a country where a POS like Kap can enjoy freedom of speech.
It's fine with me if someone flies the Confederate flag, the POW flag, the gay pride flag, or the flag of the land of their heritage. Those must all be flown at a lower height than the American flag.
Conservative's patriotism is a joke. They love the U.S. like Trump loves his wives. It ain't the liberals honoring the two enemies that hurt America the most, confederates and nazis. Don't talk about anybody not liking the flag unless you are ready to call confderate flag wavers America haters. Don't talk about anybody not loving the country unless you are ready to call those conservative nazis America haters.
"It ain't the liberals honoring the two enemies that hurt America the most, confederates and nazis." Er... Okaaayyy... Many do support the Democrats' Blackshirts, though. The Antifa-terrorists are, pretty much, Nazis.
Maybe people just aren't as patriotic as they think they are, so they should stop pretending to be patriots and more importantly, question other's patriotism, especially as confederate and nazi lovers.
