I suppose it could, but you would have to make a good case for why something defined as a person for the purposes of one law are then denied a human beings constitutional right to life.

Roe vs Wade did not have to. Other laws have though..Roe vs Wade is not the end all be all.

That is not the point. The point is that you are defining a fetus as a person in one law and not protecting a persons right to life with another law. That is the conflict. Exemptions be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed...a persons right to life can only be denied via due process of law.

Legislation does not set a precedent for interpreting the constitution.

Well it kind of is, the federal constitution is supreme law.

Just because the constitution only applies to the "born" does not mean that a homicide cannot apply to the "unborn". If the constitution specifically stated that it applied to the unborn then that would be different.

Fetal homicide makes an exemption for abortion. Again there is no problem with this imo.

The court of appeals ruled that:
Doesn't get much clearer than that surely?

If you are claiming you don't see a conflict in logic between calling a fetal homicide basically a murder when one person does it, but claiming the fetus isn't even a human being when another person is the killer, then there is no hope for your in the logic arena.

Banning abortion is just another way men attempt to keep a patriarchal society in the U.S. If a woman gets pregnant, is there any laws forcing the man to stay around for the entire term of the pregnancy? If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a right equal to that of free speech. This issue is about one thing, women’s rights. As such, only women should have the right to decide what’s best for themselves and not leave it up to law makers, mostly men, to make that decision for them. When a man finds himself in an unwanted pregnancy, which I doubt will happen, then he can make decisions pertaining to abortion.

You put cancer on your skin via your actions. You escalate the situation with your actions. Even so, you are allowed treatment for it in self-defense. Risk-taking does not preclude medical treatment for resulting injuries or outcomes.

Well that is a common misconception, but a blatantly dishonest one here since it has been explained repeatedly why this is simply not true.

When you kill the cencer cells are you killing a human being? Of course not, therein lies the difference.

There is no evidence that a zygote, embryo, or fetus is a human being.
