No doubt, we also established earlier in the thread that every single religion could be classified as such, the definition is subjective.

Precisely, if you don't believe God spoke through him or that he was visited by an angel, then all of what he wrote is his own creation from his own mind and that it's being used as a religious text, from that perspective, is without a doubt idolatry.

I grew up with mormons, they can't be trusted any more than any other religion but one thing is for sure, they know how to lie right to your face!

If you believe, then the words I say shouldn't impact you at all, it's just my opinion after all. But this is precisely what I meant when I said that most Mormons are very naive about how they're viewed by the rest of society.
