Perhaps she is, but Warren doesn't have all the negatives or baggage of Hillary. Granted that she is basically of unknown quantity to most Americans outside of the northeast and political sites like this one. But as of today she has a 34% favorable/30% unfavorable. Compare that to Hillary 40% favorable/57% unfavorable, Warren is in the positive where Clinton is in the negative. Of course there are still a lot of Americans who would have to make up their mind about her.

Whether or not she would fly in 2020, it all depends on how Trump governs. If he does so in a manner that the majority of Americans approve, it won't matter who the Dems run. If he doesn't, he'll lose regardless of who his opponent is.

Maybe she can become president, first female and no Clinton as the majority did in the United States with Clinton. But it will be another female than Clinton, according to the latest news in America.

 

It will depend on the economy. Her strong suit is consumer protection for the poor/struggling. Unless a lot of middle class are in the boat, she would have a hard time swinging them.
