Give us the differences you think Congress has. I am open to new fangled notions. How long must a Representative serve to collect a pension. Also, ditto about Senators?

I have heard her do a kind of review on the air. I have but one of her books. Got to read it sometime in full. I enjoy how she proves what she says. much to the discord by Bill Maher ...

Hillary Clinton, centrist? Hell, I thought she was a anti white racist socialist EAGER in continuing Obama's anti white socialist policies?

As for Webb, he Is more conservative than the current GOP president. But had he been the Dem nominee, your ilk would have been trashing him with the same fierceness as you did Obama and Clinton.

    - - - Updated - - -

I agree, if you are talking about the pre 2011 liberal Trump. The Trump that came after rambling on about "building walls", pretending to be pro-life, and pretending to be conservative to appease the GOP base is another story entirely.

And surrounding himself with right wing scumbags like Pence and Bannon doesn't sit well with me.

I don't know, if the Democrats have proven anything by losing to the Reality T.V. star is that they are wildly incompetent.

I certainly think it's very possible that the Dems COULD have the potential to take back the white house in 2020, but they have to find a candidate that can both energize the base and go toe to toe with Trump, insults and all. Besides her obvious baggage, Hillary didn't fight Trump the way she should have, IMO.

This is all assuming Trump even runs again in 2020, which he may not.

I’m an Independent voter. The Dems lost me decades ago, primarily because they’re so weak on immigration.

Hillary was a horrible, nasty, candidate. She deserved to lose. Imo, she and billdo helped drive the Dem party into the toilet over the last thirty years. And, Trump is a vile, filthy, and disgusting clown.

So, in terms of 2020, I hope one of the parties is able to bring forth a decent presidential candidate, for a change. America is a great country and deserves a great leader. But, for some reason, we rarely seem to find, and elect, such a person. For several decades both parties have been putting up "bottom of the barrel" candidates for the presidency.

Sad. (trump, the clown, would say).

I don't disagree. Regardless of whoever the next president is, I hope we elect an actual adult, as the current president is a bloated man child who should have stuck with Reality T.V. shows. I agree about the Clinton's (though I think Bill was a decent president), and I hope the Dems let them go, and find some new leadership to lead the party, because if they don't, we could be stuck with Trump and his goons for eight years, and nobody, not even the GOP, wants that.

Trump is married to a natural work out machine. Do not believe he lost any interest in her either.

What are you getting so belligerent about? Within the Democratic Party, yes, she is a centrist. As for the rest, you said that, I didn't. And what is my "ilk"? I voted for Johnson.

You need a nice bubble bath.

Short answer? No. She's an extremist. I don't see extremists on either side winning for anytime soon.

Border security doesn't have anything to do with social liberalism. Bernie Sanders was pro border too at the very beginning of his campaign (before he was gotten to). And the GOP has a long history of candidates pretending to be pro life. Bush senior was famous for it.

Given enough thrust, even pigs can fly.

The real question should be, Will her broom hold up on long distance flights?

I hope Liz runs in 2020. That'll be a much easier election for Trump. He'll sweep all but California (hopefully they'll secede before then)

Warren is the Democratic Party's Ted Cruz - someone who attention whore grandstands to play the extreme of her political party.

As the DNC's candidate for president, Warren would be Barry Goldwater and George McGovern. The leftwing of the Democratic Party would love her. Independent mainstream American voters would fear her.

She would be a very poor choice. Having a old white person that is far left is not the answer. The Dem's need to reclaim the blue color worker and energise the minority vote which Warren cannot do. The best bet would be a minority candidate (hispanic or African American) with strong liberal roots but also a working person's pedigree. Also the candidate needs to be a strong firm orator that is able to remain calm and poised while on the stage with Trump.

Think we could get her to make a campaign commercial riding around in an old WWII tank with the ear flaps all the while advocating letting criminal illegal immigrants evade detention?
