Obama's supposed gracious speech this morning about uniting the country was pure hypocrisy with all the race, class etc. division he has done the past 8 yrs!

Actually, Trumps first four years, if anything bad happens, Trump get's to blame Obama, just as Obama did to Bush! However, I really don't think that is what's going happen! Rather a revealing of vast criminal activity within the current administration. Presenting to the American people a mutual understanding of the importancy, of staying well informed, and not letting the masks hide the faces of those who desire criminal activity within vast power structures.

But then again, only time will tell.

Surely you were not surprised? Can Obama say or do anything that isn't dripping with condescension and divisiveness?

Hey Obama, elections have consequences. Now step aside so we can fix the damage you've caused...

That was a glitch in the system.

I too am an independent. No political party dictates how I feel or behave.

a Trump Presidency will not be boring, I think we can be sure of that :)

many times her I have criticized Obama for that, he gave great speeches during the elections, but then remained silent once elected, he need to have the same speeches against Congress, get the people behind him in asking Congress to do the right thing, every-time Republicans took American hostage he should of went to the people

Well maybe I agree! You see Obama did nothing but blame Bush for Obamas first 4 to 6 years! I really don't think Trump will do that, but if he did, what would you say?

And if Trump does not repeal the ACA, than it will repeal itself. Both sides agree it is already destroying itself.

I watched on in awe as I saw rednecks elect a sexist, racist degenerate and his porn star wife. They will not only taint the White House, but politics will never be the same. Anyone with a big enough mob can win the White House, and Trump had a big enough mob to barely get in. I feel sad for my country because the standards have dropped so far, but I look forward to the carnage in Washington.

Trump won't fulfill one promise he made. He's the ultimate con artist. There will be no wall, no mass deportations, no repeal of Obamacare (although he'll tinker with it and rename it), no repeal of NAFTA, no monitoring of Mosques, no altering the Constitution.

The rednecks wanted Washington destroyed. They're in for a very disappointing four years.

At least we won't have to listen to Trump play the race card anytime someone criticizes him, that's a blessing in itself!

And some people wonder why the extreme left are viewed as such deplorables that Trump was able to win the election...

Indeed! Perhaps with less race cards being pulled, we can actually attempt to come together.

he only blamed Bush for things that Bush did, can you give an example of something he blamed Bush for that this was not true

if Trump blames Obama for Obamacare, I have no issues, or anything else Obama touched, then it's fair game, give good or bad credit where due

where Bush was actually blamed, most of those were True, Bush was partly to Blame

that said, some of them Obama has not fixed successfully such as the VA... the allowing vets to go to a public hospital if on a wait lest was a big plus for Obama though

    - - - Updated - - -

same here, I like some of his idea and his willingness to stand up to Congress and go to the people when they misbehave... we will see what happens

    You didn't read them obviously:

    http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2013/05/leadership-obama-blames-bush-for-his.html

    That's what Obama did.

Obama did nothing, it's Bush's fault.

Oh I forgot, I'm not talking to someone who can see any wrongdoing of Obama.

    Dam. I took the bait.

And Kasich (who was my 3rd choice during the nom process) needs to be shunned the way eskimos used to do------put on an iceberg and let drift out to sea...

Not for the neo-nazis, ku klux klan, or other white supremacists who celebrate the.reality tv performer's victory as theirs, certainly, but your fixation on race says nothing of all the college-educated women and millennials who opposed him - most Americans voters, actually.

What is ironic is that President Elect Trump had sniveled that the Electoral College is "a disaster for democracy."

Without that "disaster for democracy", he wouldn't be the president-elect.

With a 33% favorable rating by the public and 56% unfavorable, the majority of Americans who did not vote for him will have to assess the novice on the job.

Will he ever attain the President's current 56% apprval/42% disapproval?

    Let's give him a chance.
