May I respectfully disagree with you? I don't think half of the country should write off how the other half of the country feels. I think in part that is how Obama got us to this polarized divided state in the first place. I want to see the two sides work TOGETHER and make America great again TOGETHER. One of the things I hated the most about Obama was his divisiveness. I don't want the thrill of victory to make Trump supporters behave as badly now as Obama supporters did then. I hope one thing we all have learned from Obama is that alienating half of the country and turning Americans against each other is never a good thing.

I'm not shocked... I called the blue states he was going to win.... Democrats got snug in Michigan and Wisconsin - Hillary assumed she was golden in those states, but ultimately the middle class vote won it for Trump in Michigan and Wisconsin - especially Michigan where he was endorsed by labor unions.

I saw Trump winning Michigan and Wisconsin months ago.....Both states have been hit hard by Obama's terrible economy...

Lets also not forget that Trump isn't a "typical" republican. Trumps jobs plan and economic plan is more on page with traditional blue dog democrats than with republicans and I think that appealed to democrats on the fence in Michigan and Wisconsin...

Hillary despite the fact she was running as a democrat did not have a traditional democratic platform at all.... Hillary's platform was more like a neo-cons than a democrat.

No, no, no......... There will be no pandering to SJW's - that is over today.

I don't care what democrats or progressives have to say about anything... Progressives got us to where we're at today - they failed....

Progressives and democrats are now moot.

The kkk did in fact help Trump win, although it was in an indirect way. The left engineered a false connection between Trump and the kkk, but America was able to see right through it. They attempted to invert kkk support of Trump as if it meant Trump support for kkk, but voters did not buy it. Some lefties are aloof enough to continue this failed tactic.

Apparently you don't realize how bad it is that the only time in recent memory the GOP won the electoral college and the popular vote was 2004.

That actually is bad news for your parties future, but go ahead and gloat now because you barely squeaked a victory against a crappy dem candidate.

Trump is going to do fantastic - he is exactly what this country needs.....

If republicans work with Trump and Trump works with republicans, a lot can get done.

Democrats are irrelevant for the next 2 years.

Who said he didn't win fair and square?

Just saying that he actually received less votes than his opponent...that's a fact.

i almost feel like copying and pasting this when your orange messiah gets booted out come 2020.

He'll be one term, watch. Even the GOP doesn't like him.

Trump won those blue states because she failed to get the minority support Obama did.

Romney actually did slightly better with white voters overall than Trump. Trump won because Hillary failed to get the support Obama had. That's what the exit polls show. Your boy Trump actually received less votes than Romney.

Aw I disagree with this. There's nothing wrong with trying to work together but what the Dems need to realize is and they are thinking hard on that right now is realizing that Obamas Democratic Party and globalist dreams which Americans didn't want anyway are dead. Buried.

Have you not figured it out yet that democrats and progressives are wrong about everything?

Have you not learned your lesson?

Are we going to stop sticking fingers in light sockets now?

Exactly this. Democrats are realizing the thing they crowed about, also apply to them. You can't alienate a high percentage of the electorate and expect to win. If Hillary hadn't uttered her xenophobic rant or 'why aren't I 50 points ahead'? She might be president. Crisis averted by their nepotism and arrogance.

Trump isn't going to work with progressives - he doesn't need to...

They no longer have a place at the table.

The MSM besides Fox is never going to recover from this. They sacrificed parts of their audience to stake their credibility and lost.

That said, there is nothing wrong with nationalism. In previous eras groups were nationalist as an act of hostility towards other nations. Today people are nationalist as an act of self-appreciation and they can even celebrate other people's nationalism.

Just ask yourself, why is the pro-globalism crowd also against "cultural appropriation"? It's not because they want to protect other cultures/races but because any sense of identity itself offends them, even one unassociated with the projector's ethnicity.

The Dow dropped more points on Trump's election than it did on 9/11, if you don't think that's an overreaction you swallowed the blue pill.

Whoah whoah the proofs in the puddin and at least try to think. What about this country allowed him to sweep all those swing states? That required minority votes and lots eh?

So he won't get reelected because the GOP doesn't like him? They hated him this time haha and we told them all to go sit in a corner. They are liking their super majority right now they only got from riding his shirt tails

Except FOX, the MSM and the Democratic Party non-stop called Trump AND HIS SUPPORTERS every possible name they could think of - and SO DID HILARY CLINTON.
Tough luck, us "deployable" Americans won, and Sanders "basement dwellers" weren't so hot on Clinton either.

Wrong about everything because of one election?

What happens when the inevitable happens and those EVIL progressives gain back power? Because the pendulum WILL swing back the other way. Always does.

Did Clinton really win the popular vote? The main election trackers stopped counting after Clinton conceded, so popular votes in Arizona weren't tallied in from what I can see.

There were not enough angry old white women to get the job done. If the dems want to win they need to dump the lefty ideology and put up better candidates that are not corrupt.

But of course ... and the Republicans are blessed with wisdom and intelligence ... I know!
I just have to look at the Bush Jr. government only to see that Republicans are just as crazy!

Libs are trying to salvage any dignity they can. They were soundly defeated and are just trying to soothe their aching ego.
