This "idiot" seems to be having remarkable success. Just lucky I guess. "In the evil populist "Trump's America," here's what happened to energy-related carbon emissions: In 2017, they fell by 0.5 percent. But in the saintly globalist European Union, they went up by 1.5 percent in the same period. In fact, per-capita carbon emissions in Trump's America are nearly at a 70-year low." "America's poverty rate was lower in President Trump’s first year than at any point in the Obama administration." "The Trump tax cuts doubled the standard deduction to $12,000 for individuals and $24,000 for families. That's a huge change that takes millions of Americans out of federal income tax altogether and has effectively increased incomes for middle class families across the country." "the lowest unemployment rate since 1969. And the lowest African-American unemployment ever." Wages have risen all the way through the last two years and were up 3.1 percent in the last quarter – the highest level in a decade." Trump's pressure is working. China is on the back foot, making trade concessions, and now pledging to drop its "Made in China 2025" program, which was Xi Jinping's grand plan to achieve world domination in the industries of the future." "It was outgoing President Obama who told President-elect Donald Trump that North Korea would be his number one problem. Trump actually listened to him, did something about it, and turned our relationship around in a way that has made the world incomparably safer." "major new effort to revitalize urban America and rebuild low-income neighborhoods is being led by Ben Carson." "America last week became a net oil exporter for the first time in 75 years, enabling us to reduce the global influence of dodgy regimes in the Middle East and elsewhere." https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/ste...st-admit-that-this-is-a-successful-presidency
Great post. Somehow I missed all those statistics on CNN and MSNBC not to mention the NYT and Washington Post.
I rather have a leader who is respected by the rest of the world, who acts with civility and honesty, and trade everything in is in the OP for that matter.
That's understandable. After all, you can't point to one single thing that Donald Trump did or changed that produced these results. And you can't deny that all of these statistics represent the continuation of the trend lines of the last seven years. The right wing noise machine is still trying to pretend that Trump's inauguration day was the day of creation, and the everything good that continue to flow from before suddenly started happening in January of 2017. It's pretty easy to discredit that idiotic notion. And yet, this thread is a monument to the fact that Trumpsters still cling to it. Of couse, now that the Trump tax cuts have produced the stock bubble and the corresponding WAll Street bonus checks they were designed for, you won't mind owning the credit for the aftermath, a slowing economy and massive federal debt. But somehow, I'm sure that the noise machine will manufacture and equally dishonest meme that absolves Trump from responsibility for his own Presidency.
You did. Obama was responsible for 90% of those results. The only one that you can honestly credit Trump with is doubling the standard deduction. Of course, he also limited the mortgage deduction. So, if you're thinking about your first house, it's not likely that Trump's tax bill did you much of a favor. As for the rejoicing about the families that may not have to pay federal income taxes.....how much longer will it be before Republicans start calling these people freeloaders?????
So it takes an idiot to become a billionaire and president of the US. I'm neither so I must be smart, huh?
He’s hundreds of millions of dollars to his name since he was a toddler. He’s not rich because he’s smart. His daddy has seen to it. If he dropped his money into a savings account as a young man he’d be richer off the interest alone. And as far as becoming president goes, he’s a rich grifter. He might be good at manipulating people, but that doesn’t mean he’s smart.
For eight long years everything was Bush's fault then suddenly after obama is gone his supporters and him want to start taking credit.
In your mind does that response actually have any relevance to what I just said? I think you just like that he makes your enemies mad. Never mind any of the harm his actions cause. That mentality is what’s wrong with America’s political climate today. You don’t care about the country. You’re a sports fan in a stadium. You just want your guy to win because it means the other guy is losing. Childish.
I wonder what him being an idiot makes all those democrats and liberals who desperately campaigned against him and yet he won the election.Comprehensively.Think about for a moment, democrats/liberals got beaten by an idiot at their own game. That makes liberals calling him names lower than an idiot, right?
Don't lecture me on winners and losers. The usual suspects have been making asses of themselves for over two years and if you interpret my distaste for the Trump haters, you are spot on the money. So if I appear a bit brusk with them tough ****. I well remember the 2008 & 2012 elections and many of my candidates lost. In spite of the new guy promising to fundamentally transform America, I dealt with it and still called him my president knowing some day it would change. Learn that lesson grasshopper. It will save you countless bottles of Pepto Bismol and rent money for a safe space and therapy animals. Here is what I do care about. I want a president that supports business and encourages products be made in the USA, who works to protect our borders and limit immigration to legals only, supports our military and appoints judges that will follow the laws and the constitution. Personally I would like to see him do far more explaining to countries around the world the train full of cash is coming to a halt and when we here in this country have our ducks in a row we will then lend our support where needed, but we can't have everything can we?
One important thing the OP left out was Trump's destruction of ISIS. He inherited an ISIS making constant snuff videos and holding a vast territory. Didn't take him long to clean their clock.
SHUSH! QUIET! DON'T LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG. IT DRIVES THEM BATTY. People who live in the dark cannot tolerate the light of day.
Great copypasta. I think I read that on 4chan about a year ago. Now, let us get back on topic: Trump IS an IDIOT.
During those 8 yrs of Bush, we had an attack on American soil. We got into 2 decades long wars. 1 we are still in. We had the biggest crash in the economy since the great recession. In Obama's years, We got out of 1 war We killed the mastermind behind the American soil attack. We ended the great recession and now are in the longest growth period in US history. Unemployment went from 10% to 5% The stock market tripled. Do you notice any difference between the 2 prez's?
If anybody still has an doubt that Trump IS an IDIOT: Put the word "idiot" into a Google Image search. Trump's Picture comes up. Everybody in the World KNOWS that Trump IS an IDIOT.
Credit for what? All Obama did was ride the horse out of the ditch. If you are happy with this economy...it's the same economy with the same problems it had before the crash. Obama did nothing that was great other than not cause more damage. The economy is still on very shaky ground. The Stock market has it's worse start in December since 1931. Market Snapshot: Dow falls 500 points in the worst start to December since 1931 https://sourcereserve.com/market-snapshot-dow-falls-500-points-in-the-worst-start-to-december-since-1931/ Does Trump own this too?
From 2005 to 2017 is was the Non-Trump regulations that produced the Carbon Emissions rates. EIA estimates that U.S. energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions declined by 861 million metric tons (14%) from 2005 to 2017. In the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook , EIA projects that CO2 emissions will rise 1.8%, from 5,143 million metric tons in 2017 to 5,237 million metric tons in 2018, then remain virtually unchanged in 2019. 2017 - 2019 ...Trump era With less regulations should be even higher.
We were, until the tax bill was passed. This was the Trump Administration's main material change to US economic policy. He followed that up with trade wars, which haven't been going so well either. Now, you and I are subsidizing soybean farmers, while their Chinese customers buy from Brazil.
