If one is up on history, they were D's but still for segregation. And one would realize, the parties switched in the south with the advent of the christian right. Back in the 80s

One rate raise in one year opposed to four in one year. Do the math.

Guess you missed my response. Four times in one year!

"Feds raised interest rates because Trump's economy was too hot to handle and feds wanted to slow it down. It proves his economic policies are working."

Economy just gaining good traction from the greatest recession ever vs an economy at basically full employment, good profits and stocks near all time highs.
    Do the math.

Obama was responsible for most of the work which lowered carbon emissions. Trump is doing his best to reverse that work, by killing as many pollution laws and regulations as he can. He even wants to make it completely legal to dump toxins into rivers.

And when it comes to taxes, Trump only helped those who use the standard deduction. Many people don't. Many people choose to itemize because, before Trump, they could take many of their expenses off of their taxes. It wasn't just the mortgage deduction Trump got rid of, he got rid of many others, but only ones used by the middle class. He kept all those ones used by billionaires and corporations. I for one am paying more in taxes in one year under Trump than I did for almost all of Obama's presidency. This is because I itemize, and I can't do that anymore cause all the deductions I used to use are gone. Even with the standard deduction doubled, I am losing about $10,000.

Perhaps, but personally I feel being honest with your constituents is critical. If Trump had used that word, I suspect there wouldn't be as much pressure on him for not getting done certain commitments made to the country.

Kim has a known history of not keeping his promises made. I don't think Kim nor his minions have been chastised in fact all I think it is, is mere window dressing on Kim's part to give the appearance that he was chastised; given his prior history, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

So is trump an idiot? I guess we could add a string of additional adjectives to that to describe a president who frequently consults with Fox personalities to help him decide policy and actions to take.

Yeah I know the D's spin. Obama's economy was Bush's fault and he gets the credit for Trump's economy after Trump repealed and replaced failed Obama economic policy. Obama himself is out there trying to take credit daily just like he blamed bush daily for eight long years.

No politician ever got elected saying they will give it their best shot and I don't trust Kim either. Trump needs to keep a boot firmly on his fat neck.

Wow, I didn't even put bush in this topic.
Are you under the impression that the economies change the moment a new prez is sworn in? It seems so.

I doubt the fed res cares who's prez. Their job is to maintain a stable economy, not too much inflation and not too little inflation. To try and keep jobs and growth as even as possible.

Actually the economy did change the moment Trump was elected. Investors and business owners breathed a huge sigh of relief that a pro capitalist president was coming on and the anti capitalism socialist president was leaving. There was an immediate euforia among this group that made them feel like ,"finally, back in business". The euphoria was then followed with reality based confidence as trump systematically dismantled Obama economic policy and replaced it with his own. This led to an economy that got up and running again instead of crawling as it had for eight long years. This has led to the feds getting nervous about inflation and raising rates four times in one year which is more than they raised them in eight years of Obama. The contrast is palpable.
