One of the most frustrating aspects of our so-called “national dialog” on race is the presumption that disparate impact equals racism. In other words, if any negative action falls disproportionately on people of color, then that difference itself is evidence of racial bias. Take the police shooting debate. Though police kill far more whites, they do use deadly force on a higher proportion of African-Americans. All other things being equal, wouldn’t that be evidence of racism? But all other things aren’t equal — violent crime rates simply aren’t proportionate. Look at this Guardian chart of murder rates, taken from the most current FBI crime statistics:



In other words, black men were roughly “nine times more likely” to be murdered than white men, and the overwhelming majority of those murders were committed by other black men. Black men were far more likely to murder white victims than vice versa. That’s a horrifying racial disparity....

Interesting that even Black females have a higher murder rate than White males.

Again: we don't have a crime problem, we have a Minority (2) Problem.

Why were Blacks lynched? Maybe, like the infamous lynching in Marion, Indiana, they raped and murdered.

 

They seem to forget that a lot of them were guilty. The libs also seem to forget that a lot of Whites were lynched as well, many if not most of whom were guilty.

 

What is your point ?
Many people have been discriminated against.

 

President Roosevelt consoled a Japanese statesman who complained about anti-Japanese measures by saying that his Dutch ancestors were similarly discriminated against and it took a few generations for them to integrate and become real Americans. If you read American history from that era, you feel that the country has come a long way.

 

And what is the Point of these goofy Anecdotes?
The usual none?
The Dutch were some of the Earliest settlers in America, establishing, ie, New York.

The Japanese (and ie, Chinese) brought here as Indentured Railway Labor just as the Blacks were being freed from Slavery. The Japenese Interned as late as WWII, and their country Nuked/Leveled.

Did/Has/IS either group committing more crime because of their oppression/persecution?
NO.
In fact, Asians commit crime at 1/4 the White Rate.
You can walk through a poverty stricken Chinatown with no fear, unlike Black and Hispanic neighborhoods of similar income.
