BBC: " Russian direct aggression concerns EU", what does EU mean (practically) when they say - " point of no return"?

That's the facade for the Western medias which, being overall left leaning, adore tales of peace and love ...

What about the Ukrainian peoples right to self determination here ? Don't they have a say in this ?

Ukraine only suddenly became a 'problem' when EU and NATO membership for it became a realistic and likely possibility. Everything after that is Russian propaganda attempting to legitimise military action against it in order to prevent that eventuality from happening irrespective of the wishes of its people.

Of course you know this as its why you and your buddies all joined over recent months flooding this forum with 'sponsored' disinformation ever since in order to assist that process. Do you think your shaky English ,flags of convenience. posting patterns and join dates wouldn't get noticed ?

Absolutely and thatr is why the 98% referendum vote in Crimea should stand and a referendum vote in Donbas should be respected. These cowardly Nazis staying on the outskirts and lobbing shells at old women and children instead of being men and taking up with the peoples militia is proof of their cowardess.

And why 92.3% of Ukrainians voted for independence in 1991 and why 90% still wanted to remain so in the most recent opinion poll in 2012 before the current administration in Kiev. They don't want you back, and that is why you and your buddies are being employed by the Russians in a clumsy and obvious attempt to paper over that inconvenient reality

Those were folks from Lvov and Carpathians. Now, majority of people in Ukraine would change their mind and vote differently, because they tried the Maidans. Novorussia had voted very differently and so did Crimea.

I live in Pennsylvania but thanks for the compliment. You do realize that in 1991 the communist Soviet Union had just fallen right?

    Nonsense

And that is nonsense too as I know from the personal experience of being there. Ukrainians are proud of their sovereignty and self determination. When you go there you see their flags everywhere . These are my own personal images of that patriotism from 2009 -2011. Please note the large EU flag next to their own flag in front of their parliament building. This photograph was taken in Kiev in August 2010 long before the present government was in office.

and no one is saying they cant be a Washington colony like EU if that is what they want, but the Donbas has a right to secede also if they like. It would be no different than one of the 26 states here getting the vote to secede. Do you think Washington should then bomb their schools and hospitals?

Really ? With a comment like that its pretty obvious you are not posting from Pennsylvania

Russia started this because it doesn't want Ukraine in the EU or NATO. Fomenting unrest in neighbouring minorities within Ukraine has been its vehicle for achieving this. The right of the Ukrainians to determine that future for themselves never entered into it . It wasn't going to plan so now they have been forced to use their own regular army and try to persuade us otherwise. You disinformation bots are of course a part of that game plan

Washington broke the Budapest Memorandum when they interfered with Ukraines government and again broke their agreement to not move missile sites further east after the agreement to leave Germany. NATO has missiles pointed at Russia's western border in several countries. I wouldn't want Russia having missiles in Quebec point south toward Pa. You seem to base your thinking on emotions instead of fact. You must be a liberal.

What about what the Ukrainians want or doesn't that feature ? Here is a photograph I took from 2010 (long before the current Ukrainian administration) in front of the Ukrainian parliament building in Kiev. Note the flags. It seems pretty clear what they wanted to happen

Sadly Russia subsequently had other plans for them

This picture does not mean that Ukraine wants to be with EU or vice verse. They always put flags when there is some meeting. For example, when Putin was in Berlin, you could see this:
    EU1.jpg
Does it mean that EU wants that Russia joine EU?

But there was no EU meeting there at that time in August 2010. I saw the EU flag in Kharkiv too on my travels and there was no meeting there either. One thing that was conspicuous by its absence was the presence of a single Russian flag anywhere.

Ukraine is going to be horribly surprised when nobody shows up to help with their fighting. Everybody has already recognized that this is yet another attempt by the Likud/Mossad and the rest of International Jewish pirates to throw the world into chaos. Fool me 16 times, shame on you. Fool me 17 times, shame on me.
