Apparently, you have not been to Donbass, there you could find a lot of Russian flags. BTW EU does not eager to have Ukraine as its member. Too much problems with Greece, Spain, Slovakia to have one more problematic country.

So what is happening with these armors? Are they vanquished? Have they moved secretely back to Russia? Were they destroyed? Have they made these 30 km in two last days? Does anyone remember of them or that wasn't the aim from the very beginning?

How is it going with 'liberation of Donetsk and Lugansk? In the beginning of august it was told that some agents of Putin will be destroyed soon. Has it happened in realty? Were they captured or killed?

What are the news of MH17 research? Do the investigators need any more data or guarantees of security? Will we have a single article in the newspapers from the official information or the aim was from the very beginning to accuse Russia? Who of the westerners will be killed next time when bankers from western governments will again decide to accuse Russia?

How is it going with the investigation of Odessa Khatyn? Have the criminals that burnt people to death been identified? There are numerous evidences of people who did the videos from the building and who were there instead of firefighters and ambulances. Any progress? Or killers in Ukraine are no longer put into jail? How about the murders of ukrainian policemen and some Maidan mobs? Does anyone remember of it or it was done just to stir up the civil war between ukrainians and russians?

Litwin, you talk a lot about fantasy world. Do you get there by natural imgaination or you have to use some chems?

Have you been to Donbas then ?

You do realise that only around 17% of Ukrainians are now of Russian ethnicity don't you ? The highest that percentage has ever been in the last 60 years is 22%

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Ukraine

Unsurprisingly this has been reflected even more prominently in opinion polls and in the 1991 referendum on independence. In short the Ukrainians don't want you back ..... period

I was. I was born in Donetsk region and have a lot of relatives there. So what that only 17% are ethnic Russians? Not only ethnic Russians want to go along with Russia. This is first. Second, what Ukraine can offer to EU? Nothing. Only lots of people seeking jobs. What can EU offer Ukraine? Nothing. Only words of support and a little bit money for huge interests rates with the outcome of dead economics (look at Slovakia, Latvia, etc recently joined countries). For many years since collapse of USSR Russia subsidized Ukraine with cheap prices for gas. Now Ukraine wants to go with EU as they think in Kiev, and yet wants to have cheap prices for gas. И рыбку сьесть, и на хуй сесть. No way.

I can only repeat that it doesn't matter what Russia wants. If Ukraine wants to take a path contrary to Russian desires then that's a matter for them to decide for themselves not you

Of course, it matters what Russia wants. Ukraine is the neighbor country and it was always the area of Russian geopolitical interests. And as Putin stated it is better not to mess with Russia- it is still one of the most strong nuclear powers.

So are you saying Ukraine must subordinate its own national interests to those of Russia or face the consequences we see today ?

If you are then that will be a chilling revelation for many of its other neighbour's when exercising their rights to self determination in future :(

I don't much care about Kremlinbot anti capitalist conspiracy theories

The Ukrainians should have the freedom to determine their own destiny even if that contradicts Russian interests.

Yes, I say Ukraine should coordinate with Russia whatever they are doing in politics and military things. Guess what would happen if Mexico decides to self determinate everything and Mexico government agrees that Russia put missiles on the border with US?

What would you prefer, to have a WW3 or let Ukraine and Russia solve the problems between them internally?

    - - - Updated - - -

    Then they will have problems.

I'd hardly call sending the tanks in as being conducive to solving anything. On the contrary I suspect Ukrainian nationalism will get a major boost from it

Perhaps they should have joined NATO when they had the chance then given what is happening to them now

Well, for them the train has gone away. The country that have territory claims (Crimea in this case) can not join NATO according to its rules.
In fact, Russia do not need to send tanks. The are a lot of economical ways to cause problems for Ukranian government. The easiest way would be to keep the prices for gas. at high level. Then, after 4 years of Poroshenko presidency, when all the prices go up and a lot of people become poor, noone will elect him again and Ukraine will go back to Russia.

What is a russian ethnicity and what is a difference of a russian from a ukrainian? I don't know of such differences. Any guy who speaks russian and have a common ground with russians (Orthodox values, anti-fascist values, values of independency and sovereignty) are russians as long as they want to call themselves so. Last years russians were under propaganda in Ukraine and lots of russians reconsidered. They stopped to be russians on their own decisions.

The difference between a ukrainian and a russian is vague and mainly political. It is about attitude towards Putin worshipping an anthem and national banner. That is nothing provided that within latest 100 years we got a dozen of banners and about 5 anthems. We can easily make up a new banner and anthem if that is our will. For the moment ukrainians want to kill russians. Too bad for them. Cause they will have to kill until the last killer is killed for it is them themselves who are russians.

And as for the civil war - for the moment the rebels are winning. So the success of current pro-western oligarch government in Kiev is not a guarantee. If EU or US takes the responsibility to feed and supply a decent life for about 30 mln of people the regime might be able to resist. If not then in spring after the hunger and ruining the state the amount of russians will surprisingly rise. :)

From the caption on the actual youtube page you linked to:

"She was appointed Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on 11 March 2014. Poklonskaya was appointed to the position by Sergei Aksyonov after the previous prosecutor had remained loyal to the government in Kiev; the position had also been reportedly rejected by four other men before Poklonskaya accepted. She had previously voiced criticism of the opposition protests in Ukraine and described the change of government in Kiev as an "anti-constitutional coup". In response, the Ukrainian government launched a criminal case against her and stripped her of the civil service rank of "counsellor of justice". On March 26, Poklonskaya was listed as a wanted criminal on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs. On 27 March, she was promoted to the rank of senior counselor of justice."

The person who appointed her was voted into office during an armed occupation of the Crimean parliament.
