Raking up debris around one's property is an important activity in mountain environments. When a I had a place in the local mountains, we did that all the time.

I don't believe the President was intending to deliver a briefing on what the President of Finland said to him. Speaking in general terms, in the context in which he offered them, should suffice for rational thinking people.
