The one thing that the Trump presidency confirmed for all Americans is that the authority of elected officials is negligible in comparison to the authority of the bureaucracy which is supposed to serve the people. They are very selective regarding who they investigate and arrest. Anyone the least bit associated with Trump support gets raided while anyone associated with Democrats gets kid gloves if anything at all. Look at Swalwell. He was sleeping with a Chinese spy and got nothing. Trump, meanwhile, got a reference everyone knew was made up by the Clinton campaign and got a three year, very public investigation.

 

You don’t know if swalwell was investigated or not, because he didn’t go whine to the media about it every couple days.
Trjmp got investigated because Russia broke laws to help his campaign and he motive and opportunity to assist them in their crimes.
