Well ... for the passive Turkish acting against ISIS before, because as far as they fight Assad it does not matter much, they were criticized! Now, after Turkey became victim of ISIS terror too ... they have nothing more to do as to bomb Kurds in Northern Iraq (estimated PKK bases, but if really is questionable!) in same manner, if not more intensive!

Sorry, in general are many NATO members more making the fist in the pocket and don't tell what they think about this rubbish Turks (the gangster Erdogan) does. This is pure self control in politic not to do what has to be done and told ... because not to annoy Turkey as important NATO ally!

The time where the fists of anger remain in silence in the pocket is more and more over. The first act was in 2003 in front of Iraq war when Bush junior tried to abuse NATO and allies for his criminal war against Saddam ... and particularly Germany, France as well Turkey showed him the "middle finger" as answer for his demand to enter war. Since then the NATO members grow up and don't accept everything what from Washington comes, because the own opinions about are a major point too now!

That ISIS has to be fought in the last corner of the world to kill even the last member and supporter of them is un-disputable ... because these barbaric bastards have no right for life! That NATO will be more active here now is normal when a member was attacked by ISIS, as well that US can use Turkish Airbases more as they still did. But the Turkish mop up ti attack PKK is un-excusable a crime!

You do not like the Russian tsars? I have some very popular. For example, Ivan 4 "the Terrible". Very kind tsar. Kind and peaceful. In contrast to the European kings.
For example Ivan the Terrible, for the entire period of his reign (50 years) executed, according to various sources, from 4000 to 7000.
At the same time. Charles 9 , King of France, for one night (St. Bartholomew) have been killed - 30 000 people.
Incidentally France at that time was the most advanced country in Europe. Passion for the murder at the Europeans laid at the genetic level.
(I also want to remind you that Europe - unleashed all world wars.)

There is a very powerful reason that we. as humans came up with the term History and use it to help with current time and actions.

To be precise, the Greeks invented the term (By the way - Greek Orthodox) - "ἱστορία".
But that does not mean anything. Different people to refer to the "story" had their terms. For example Russian, "history" called - "Chronicle" (Letopis). I think it's no worse. Is not it?

Didn't you vigorously disagree when I feared Russia turning from 20th century bolshewism to 19th century nationalism. Now you present me a comparision between France and Muskovy of 16th centuries cruelties? Not very conclusively, or do you believe that?

To get my point clear: Neither Hohenzollern, nor Habsburg, Bourbon, Romanow, nor Iwan Grosnyi, some Charles, Friedrich or Maria Theresia should matter anymore - they were what they were in their times. Their uprises and falls were bought by the lives, welfare and freedom of their citizens.
But now we are in the 21st century and each kind of religious fanatism and nationalism should be replaced by understanding, friendship and cooperation.
And if Putin doesn't want to join those ideas and his people agree - Russia should be left alone, but also has to leave its neighbours their own choice ... ...

Russia is not surrounded by with their military base NATO countriess. Russia is not arranges and do not support a coup d'etat. Russia does not support the revival of fascism. For example in Ukraine ..... and so on. Russian only defend.
By the way, you can compare the military budgets of NATO countries and Russia. You'll see - who is the real aggressor.

I agree with you. Russia should return all of its territory. In order to correspond to what is happening now.

That makes absolutely no sense at all.

    1) No one is trying or asking Russia to give up territory.
    2) Russia is actually expanding it's territory.
    3) Hyperbole is not discussion or debate...it is desperate action to avoid both.

    1. The Crimea - territory of Russia. It is a fact. The EU and the US are trying to force Russia to give up part of its territory.
    2. Russia does not expand its territory. Russia returns a portion of its territory. I hope Russia will return all your territory peacefully. Otherwise, Russia increase its territory (in addition to historical).
    3. No hyperbole

Apparently your understanding of world events is counter to the history the rest of our world accepts.

Crimea was part of the Ukraine until Russia decided to "Let It" become a part of it's territory.....Amazingly this kindness allowed Russia to keep it's warm water port.

    Strange and fortuitous coincidence that.

Yes, it is similar to the run up to WWII, which should be highly disturbing for anyone who wants to avoid worldwide destruction.

    Pioneers and immigrants built America.
Do you have any idea how much a trip via boat or plane costs to come to the American East Coast?

You probably think that anyone who doesn't agree with you is a "Putin puppet". The mark of a narrow thinker.

Clearly you care, otherwise you wouldn't have posted in this thread.

Then it has no right to crusade in defense of "democracy" in foreign countries.

Europe hasn't advanced. They are pawns in the US government's imperialism. That is why there are US nukes in Germany even though the majority of your country doesn't want them there.

Break that down and do the math.
The richest 10% of Americans pay 90% of taxes. Canadians are not flooding in the US. Lots of Mexicans. Tell me about the other 119 countries immigrating to the US at taxpayer cost.
