Yah, I got that... my snip mentioned the pandemic.... The point is that after 2 (probably 3) significantly down tourists years, why would you lead off year 4 with scaring potential visitors from a big comeback year?? With COVID not completely over as well?
So, your tactic then is to do nothing? To ignore these religious fanatics entirely? Just so you don't have to explain why democrats seem willing to ignore islamic folks committing crimes in the US?
that seems to be your tactic, I do not support either and condemn both Muslim and Christian religious fanatics, why can't you do that too
No, they don't, and Pope John Paul II explained the differences between the Muslim and Christian conceptions of God in his book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. But let's not let facts get in your way. By all means, tell us all about the Christian doctrine of tawhid. This should be fun...
Well, despite the weird contradictions (where there is one god . . . but there are three of him) in Christianity, Christianity generally teaches there is one God, just like the tawhid.
I agree, but still oppose forcing them to create something or inventory an item against their will. If you sell cakes, sell to all. If asked to bake a nazi cake and deliver it to a nazi event, it is more than reasonable to refuse.
Umm, no. Christianity generally teaches trinitarianism which is the polar opposite of the Islamic doctrine of tawhid (the oneness of God).
You might want to get out and meet some Christians. I get that it sounds (and likely is) contradictory, but they believe that there is one God . . . even though there are three of him. The oneness of God is absolutely CENTRAL to every major denomination of Christianity, and is featured in their scriptures.
I was raised a Christian and you might want to study Christianity and Islam sometime. The Islamic doctrine of tawhid is an explicit rejection of the Christian doctrine of trinitarianism. I get that you don't get that there is no doctrine of tawhid in Christianity, and it's laughable that you are futilely attempting to claim that there is.
I have. Which is why, again despite the apparent contradictions, I know that Christians (with very few exceptions) purport to be monotheistic. I'm sorry for reading the book of Deutoronomy and actually remembering how I was raised. I will try to forget everything every Christian has ever told me, every Christian minister has ever told me, every piece of Christian writing I've ever read, and adopt your re-writing of Christianity instead. Hell, I'll even forget everything I learned while on my path to try to become a Christian minister. My mistake.
Please, Talon. Tell us, aside from a handful of minority groups within the religion, how many Christian denominations teach there is more than one God? This will be cute.
I've heard that Deuteronomy is part of Christian scriptures. But, hey, I guess you know better. Do tell us about all of those Christian denominations that reject the book of Deuteronomy. Aside from a handful of Marcionites . . . which I don't think even exist anymore . . . you are going to come up short. But feel free to point out all half dozen or so of people who agree with you on this.
If you had you would know that Christians, with very few exceptions, are trinitarians. You can be sorry that you forgot Christians are trinitarians and prattle about how that qualifies as "re-writing of Christianity". Your mistake, indeed.
Which they claim is monotheistic. Maybe try asking some Christians if they are monotheistic or not. Go on. Give it a shot.
