    A sort of on-line Asperger's? I'm border-line Asperger's in real life. Just sharing!

Generally speaking I'd say internet trolls are exactly as pathetic as the dolts who enable them by trying to get the better of them, somehow not realizing that the more you argue with an idiot, the harder it is for observers to tell the difference between him and you.

OTOH, it seems worth noting that it's possible to troll a troll, and I've done it more than once.

Some people love animals more than they love people. In fact, a whole lot of people feel this way.

Probably don't want to either! I can troll too with the best of them, but I CHOOSE not to treat people badly if I don't have to.

There is a difference between "trolling" and joking around with someone, and I disagree. :)

I don't know. Do you go online with the specific purpose of trolling or stalking other people? If not, then I'm not talking about you. ;)

Meh, I was raised by a former Nazi to the age of 12, my local friend group consist of a 17 year old with a severe case of Aspergers(We taught him he wasn't "special" and that life was going to suck for him. He got transferred out of the Special needs school and is attending the public school and working at a pizza joint. He's the funniest person you'll ever talk to real life, if you make him mad he'll call you and your wife out at the same time, "You f**k Rhino's" and pointed at his wife in the middle of the local LAN center during a tournament because the guy called him a "Genetic sh**pool".) , a Jew, 3 Gingers, a guy that looks like Theodore from the chipmunks, A "moist back" as he says , not me.it(Half white half Mexican), and 2 that were not really quite sure of yet.

As you can probably tell, none of us care what we say to each other. The first thing that got said to me Thursday when I seen everybody was, "Look at this Jewish POS". Now with my heritage, you'd think that would bother me, nope. Instant response, "Yeah at least our ancestors are toasty" *The Jew called me a Jew*, he just laughed. One of the few people I've ever trusted showing my collection.

We are a variety of backgrounds, we all share one thing, our ability to not be offended and to offend back.

It's completely different to mess around with your friends than it is to do the same with strangers online who don't know you and don't know if you are joking or not though.

That's how we met. The first time we met we were all total ********s to ea h other. After about 5 minutes we all agreed this could work. I congregate towards ********s, they tend to be more intelligent than happy go lucky hippy LGBTQW$&XRZ. They troll them all the time on social media. It's hilarious.

Yes and that is absolutely ridiculous. I recall some sort of survey where way too many people answered they'd kill a baby in order to save the lives of six kittens or something like that.

No, I mainly go online because I really am borderline Asperger's, and I don't easily engage with anyone on a personal level. Lucky for me that I'm a loner?

It never ceases to amaze me how many dog owners risk their lives to save their dog - and more often than not the dog survives but they die in the attempt. :wall:

Because they see their dog as their child or as a family member.

Well I daresay the family would rather the dog had drowned than the 'family member' who drowned trying to save it, so what kind of logic is that? As I was saying . . . :wall: Are you a doggy person by any chance?

I don't own a dog, but I love them! I love all animals, so I am an animal person.

I met the nicest dog at an antique store. He just walked over to us and then he would put his head on our legs for pats. He was an older dog but very sweet and gentle.

Why is it so frustrating for you that other people like dogs and see them as family members? Some old people have nobody and they get a dog for companionship and, yes, that dog may be the only other creature that this person gets to see and socialize with every day. They get a lot from that dog and they give a lot back in return.

Some people are handicapped or blind, and helper dogs play a HUGE role in their lives. More dogs are good than bad, just like people.

Trolls don't bother me. The label gets thrown around about as much as the racist label. lol
Theres a huge list of troll types and most people fit into a troll category (some more than one category lol)
Either ignore the ones you don't like or put them on ignore if you cant ignore on your own.

The only on line behavior I wont tolerate is control freaks who hack into personal information, alter things, harass family ( and especially on an ongoing basis)...then play victim.
Its a sight to behold for sure.

Yeah, no matter how low a person sinks he can always get what passes for love from a dog.

    A lot of what?

Surely you don't believe animals can love humans in any meaningful way.

I worry more about foreign governments having armies of posters trying to influence the American public's opinions in politics, sadly i think it's happening
