You may think it is irrelevant that the IDF targets sites where there is only civilians, others do not.

I would of thought it was more important to get the rocket launcher and terrorist, but you think the site and civilians is more important, why?

I hear there is no worry at all in killing civilians in Israel nowadays

    http://972mag.com/not-even-a-bump-on-the-wing-these-days-when-killing-palestinians/95778/

Does not look like much due care and proportionality as required by international law to me.

Back to the topic however and the Jewish Chronicle. I think some people may have been over hard on it. It reported this - also showing the good work of Yachad

    http://www.thejc.com/comment-and-de...e-a-lawyers-advice-visit-occupied-territories

Yachad is a British Jewish Organisation which is Zionist but also believes in a just peace for the Palestinians. One of the things it does is organise tours for Jews to the West Bank so that they can get a real understanding of what is going on. Look to the link for what happened.

The Jewish Chronicle reported this so clearly is not as stuck as some of us thought.

So, aside from it being a "credible poll" (apparently) ... to which I couldn't use the same phrase with the example you cited... what would you like then as proof to show that the people don't stand with Hamas?

Well. Israeli Jews vote on a massive scale on political parties who got on their agenda to ethnically cleanse the WB bit by bit. Hence the Israeli governments have done so for decades. Israeli Jews also join on a massive scale the institude that does the ethnic cleansing. Israeli Jews show to have no problem to live on ethnically cleansed land, and keeping what they stole from 700.000 Arabs.. because of their race. These Israeli Jews, eventhough they are civilians, benefit and participate in making warcrimes.

I see little to no proof of other Israeli Jews that they don't stand behind that. No doubt it has a lot to do that that group is %-wise as good as non existand.

When civilians who participate and benefit from warcrimes get beaten to even killed for their ungoing practices.... well. Exactly what is expected from a person to think off all this?

Does such a group who benefit and participate in warcrimes have a right to "defend" their ways with deadly force,.. from people who object to that? I think not. I think they are a valid target. Nelson Mandela, for instance, supported violent ristance to end racist oppression.

And seeing that in the western world, there is an absolute massive, financially rich, powerful, successful Jewish lobby in support of Israel so them warcrimes go forth. While the voice of that same group that says stealing is wrong, accepting the border as is agreed by the UN etc.. gets absolute dwarfed till the point that it is as good as non existand.

What is a man to think of that?

I think all of that doesn't really say much about what proof is required that Palestinians may not stand with Hamas, so I'm not sure why you quoted me.

Non sequitur since Hamas has presented a cogent and logical response as to why it has not renounced the Charter. Now, why would a right-wing establishment figure traditionally sympathetic to Israel, Sir Jeremy Greenstock no less, describe the contents of the Charter as irrelevant?

I'm quoting you, because I'm using your similar reasoning to portrait a picture that a group of people, in this case the absolute fast majority of Israeli Jews with an absolute tiny part of Israeli Jews that might disagree, who on a massive scale benifit and participate in making warcrimes lost their status as "innocent civilians" to become a rather valid target to beat and kill. Civilians who are not innocent get killed in the US all the time. That is found perfectly normal and just.

So IMHO there is no real moral problem when siding with a group that actually does that kind of thing vs a bunch of warcrminals.

So why do you need proof of that kind of thing in the first place?

It was a comment to Taxpayer, who was suggesting that until the people of Palestine show that they are not for Hamas policies, then they would continue to be hit. Apparently a poll wouldn't be enough, so I was asking what he would accept to show this [and therefore what the international community/Israel might accept]. So, it's not really my reasoning but more a question on his?

MEMRI is a Jewish extremistic organisation, who have in the past dileberatly mistranslated lines like "The Jews are killing us" into "We will annihilate the Jews". There is no reason to trust what they claim to translate correclty. This also should not be any news for you, so it says a lot you keep on puting your trust into that, what you apperantly like to hear.

No need to there is so much evidence that the real suppression of news from Gaza and even aid appeals is taking place by Zionist gimps spreading Zionist lies. That after all is what this thread is about! Dutch if you want to swallow it whole that's your look out some of us take the time to try to find reputable sources. Lets remember the Jewish Chronicle was forced to apologize for running an aid add for Gaza. Journalist have been removed from Israel for tweeting the truth. Israeli propaganda has some small victories against minority publications, but on the whole, despite its massive propaganda assault, it is losing the battle. The marches get bigger, the boycotts continue to gather strength and the Zionist shrills sound more desperate and funnier, it is only a matter of time.

yes, need to. In post #112 you claimed "MEMRI is a Jewish extremistic organisation, who have in the past dileberatly mistranslated lines like "The Jews are killing us" into "We will annihilate the Jews". There is no reason to trust what they claim to translate correclty. This also should not be any news for you, so it says a lot you keep on puting your trust into that, what you apperantly like to hear". Again, are you fluent Arabic reader? Can you confirm to us that MEMRI has incorrectly translated an interview with HAMAS ministry official, who stated they do not permit foreign journalists to visit rocket launch sites and deport these who try? Yes, no?

So you have no way to back up what you said (lied?) In post 112 so you just want us to re-read it and take your islamofascist claim at face value? It doesn't work like that sweetheart.

If you're really a Muslim girl living in the UK I don't actually blame you, you're thoroughly brainwashed by both islamic propaganda and British one sided lies and distortions, you probably sincerely believe in what you say. The rest of us are not nearly as gullible.

No need to patronize me, lass. If you cannot read or understand Arabic, just say so. If you can, inform the rest of us if MEMRI translation of an interview with Hamas ministry official correct, or not. Should be easy... Right?

Oh dear, your understanding that A, I am female and B I am muslim is as completely wrong as the rest of your post. Maybe english is not your first language and this is why your understanding of Snake's and my attempts to educate you have failed!!!!!!

Now do you wish to discuss the subject of the thread, IE the way in which an aid add was attacked, or do you wish to discuss the legitimacy of Dutch's source? Which I am happy to do should you start a thread about it.

I am happy to back up what I said in post #112 which was this,

You get funnier and funnier, an organization set up by an Israeli Intelligence officer, renowned for its "selective" translations!

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2002/aug/12/worlddispatch.brianwhitaker

Evidence from Memri's website also casts doubt on its non-partisan status. Besides supporting liberal democracy, civil society, and the free market, the institute also emphasises "the continuing relevance of Zionism to the Jewish people and to the state of Israel".

That is what its website used to say, but the words about Zionism have now been deleted. The original page, however, can still be found in internet archives.

The reason for Memri's air of secrecy becomes clearer when we look at the people behind it. The co-founder and president of Memri, and the registered owner of its website, is an Israeli called Yigal Carmon.

Mr - or rather, Colonel - Carmon spent 22 years in Israeli military intelligence and later served as counter-terrorism adviser to two Israeli prime ministers, Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin.

Retrieving another now-deleted page from the archives of Memri's website also throws up a list of its staff. Of the six people named, three - including Col Carmon - are described as having worked for Israeli intelligence.

    And this,

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East_Media_Research_Institute

Critics charge that it aims to portray the Arab and Muslim world in a negative light, through the production and dissemination of inaccurate translations and by selectively translating views of extremists while deemphasizing or ignoring mainstream opinions.

Now do you want to get back on topic or not?

You've come up with zero evidence that Memri's translation is incorrect, your personal attacks just won't do it...And seriously, you should learn to be more comfortable with yourself, there is nothing wrong, shameful or demeaning about being a Muslim or being a female. You should celebrate who you are.

PS What's your opinion on the refusal of the British media to publish an anti-Hamas ad and the pro-Israel opinion of a famous Harvard Professor? Is it the fear of reprisal by Hamas/Muslim extremists or freedom of speech in the UK applies to extremist Muslim organizations banned in Muslim countries for their extremism only?

Actually americans and russians fought Hitler for the Brits, the British participated too though, for themselves, not for the Jews, they shipped ships with Jews from Palestine back to Europe, to German gas chambers...After the war the British occupation forces in Palestine were hanging innocent Jewish (and arab) civilians for minor [alleged] crimes. How civilized is that?
You muslims mostly sided with Hitler at the time. And now your Hamas brethren is committed to Hitler's cause as far as Jews are concerned.

You are, of course, also familiar with the 'wiping [Israel] from the pages of time' quote fallen upon with such gusto by the pro-Israelis. Turns out there is no such idiom in Farsi. It also turns out that MEMRI made it up.
