Bullshit. You're not for it. But if it has to be done, let Democrats do it and rip political rewards rather than let Trump keep his campaign promise and rip political rewards.

You're simple to understand, my friend.

Look at the stats. CBP / DHS aren't in the business of manufacturing crisis OK? Illegal crossings sky-rocketed post DNC sanctuary policies. Hordes of thousands weren't massing on the border before deportation was outlawed in Mexifornia. The longer (D)'s insist Trump is crying wolf, the more detainees will die as a result. YouTube McAleenans hearing. He recited the stats, outlined the inadequacies, asked for help. CBP / DHS doesn't want more deaths, and McAleenan didn't ask for wall money. Beds, food, medicine and staff. (D)'s = Spring break! bye, bye ... no dinero.

It is the Judge's responsibility to make sure the rule of law is being followed. I am sorry for you and Trump that he can't violate the Constitution. Too bad, so sad.

    Does it matter?

Would you be willing to give up your child or spouse to murder by an illegal immigrant in exchange for keeping the wall from being built? What are they worth to you?

You voted for Gary Johnson. Libertarians believe that the government should only do those things outlined in the Constitution. Don't you think a fundamental duty of the government is to provide for the common defense? Don't you think that a fundamental duty of government is to protect its citizens?

I hope deep inside you're embarrassed by your forgetting about "a pen and a phone", immortalized by the Anointed One. Trump is not doing anything that the previous schmuck, occupying the White House did to your applause, I'm sure!

Nothing in the Constitution says any judge has the power to enforce the Constitution any way he sees fit.

And now you want that on steroids. I'd prefer to remain consistent myself. I can't muster the hypocrisy required to support executive overreach under one president while criticizing it under another. And Trump is going much, much further than Obama did.

Then take it up with a Democrat. Meanwhile, you can't pretend this is about respect for our nation and its laws while you advocate that Trump abandon the law.

Nor is that what happened. Nothing in the Constitution says that a President can ignore the Constitution in any way he sees fit, which is what this is actually about.

Yes, Govt should protect the citizens, within legal means. You know, through Congress. Legally.

It will never happen through Congress. The Democrats will vote "no" on anything that stops or slows the flow of illegals.

The Democrats weren't in control for Trump's first 2 years in office. Try again.

The question isn't what officials in the government should do, it's who gets to enforce the Constitution.

When it comes to the President, that's normally Congress, or to a lesser extent in some situations the Supreme Court in conjunction with other officials.

I agree that it should be through Congress with the Executive Branch implementing that protection. Trouble is, Congress won’t act. It won’t do its duty. In Congress, politics outweighs duty.

    Lol, no.
Wrong. The power of the purse is Congress's, not the Executive's. Which was the basis of the judge's ruling.

If Trump acts without Congress, he's the one putting politics over duty. And the law.

Congress funds, Executive spends it. The court system can't come in and say you can't fund that or this needs to be funded. That is wayyyyyy over the line. Remember when Obama shifted money around to fund EBT? So yes money can be shifted around.
