Allowing for ballot harvesting leads to an inability to audit election results. Allowing for ballots to be printed on line and having no voter verification leads to an inability to audit election results.

I agree the California recall election was fraudulent...Elder knew this from day one of the recall. What Elder is now attempting to do is persuade the changing of fraudulent California voting laws.

You may wish to find a good tax lawyer, Dairy, and pose your questions about the vast array of loopholes, 'shelters', exclusions, deductions, and exemptions found in ABUNDANCE in the U. S. Tax Code, or browse information up on the 'net. It is a fascinating study that can fill your days for weeks to come!

Here's something you can really enjoy, though.... Remember when Mitt Romney was running for president against Democrat "Messiah" Obama? Remember how it blew up in Romney's face when it was revealed how very little he, a multi-millionaire, had paid so little in federal taxes? Link: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/mitt-romney-made-42-million-paid-14-percent/story?id=15423615

And the thing you should bear in mind is that Romney did not break any laws, even though he paid less in federal taxes than a secretary in one of his own companies. NO, it was all perfectly legal, and it happened because of the lousy, rotten, totally unfair language that had been carefully built into the U. S. Tax Code for decades -- and which remains to this day!

Colorado used to be a reliably Republican state until all those Californians poured in here during that recession in the early 1990's. More and more of them came, especially as the cost of living in California soared and the combination of another recession in 2000, along with "9/11" a year later spurred another big out-gush of them across the western states, including Nevada.

Now, thanks to all the California libs that have nested in Denver/Boulder and the mountain regions, Colorado is just another damned blue-state, with a totally Democrat-dominated legislature, and a Democrat Governor. We're FUGGED, and all our water in the Colorado Rockies is pouring out of our reservoirs to go to California AND to Nevada, too. Thanks for reminding me....

Sorry, but I have to call your bs. Show me a link that shows that there were counties that had more ballots than the population. Not an opinion, proof.
Spoiler alert, I've already looked into it and only found that "people" were just saying this without proof. If you can show proof of that, I will concede.

Nevada is Democratic, as well, but it has nothing to do with California. Any state that experiences urban growth is going to lean Democratic.

Californians don't move here and turn the state blue. The population growth in Vegas and Reno is what makes us blue. It wouldn't matter if they came from California or Texas. Large cities are blue.

My point is that Californians aren't as powerful as you say they are.

So, according to you, all those loopholes existed and still exist today.
Then the tax cuts to the rich under trump never really happened? Because they already were employing those loop holes.

Can you clarify? Did the tax cuts to the rich under trump act as a tax cut? According to your loop hole theory, they never received a tax cut.

Why your endless attempts to deflect this discussion to Trump?! That's all you on the Left do anymore is dredge-up Trump as a one-size-fits-all for all negative aspects of every discussion.

Trump did provide some kind of half-assed "tax cut" as I remember. It saved me about a thousand bucks a year, but his incessant pressure to crush interest rates to inflate the stock market casinos took THOUSANDS (plural) away from me, so, I'm really no big fan of Trump or his "tax cut"... and never was....

It's not a deflection. The dem tax plan is to roll back his tax cuts to the rich.
The deflection is talking about the taxes in the 1st place. So, if you are done deflecting, stop talking about taxes.

Fair enough... Newsom won, California remains what it has been -- a political and sociological septic tank. Glad I'm not there.

Californians! You will get more of the same -- FOREVER! Good advice? Learn to read, write, and speak Spanish NOW....

Americans! You, too, will get more of the same -- FOREVER! Good advice? Learn to read, write, and speak Mandarin Chinese and Russian NOW....

And if you're watching an old '20s movie, learn to speak Italian.

    Same old bullshit. Never happens.

California is more Democratic and Liberal than Republican and Conservative. At least mostly in some parts of California.

Nothing to catch up on. Been there, done that. Freaking out about immigrants is not new. We still speak English and will continue to do so.

You think that the growing, powerful Sino-Russian alliance is about sending immigrants to the U. S. to make us learn Mandarin and/or Russian? :psychoitc:

Are you wholly unaware of what the hell is going on in the entire Eastern Hemisphere of the world (and more and more of South America, too)?! It's truly a waste of time trying to discuss geopolitical, economic, or military matters with people who have such amazingly limited understanding....

So out of curiosity.....how exactly did you interpret the title of the thread?

I'm assuming you'll argue that 'concedes' and 'concession speech' aren't the same right? Going the ole technicality route?

The title of the thread was referring to a post on Elder's website that said that Newsome had won via cheating, a post that was made a day before the end of the election, giving the impression that Elder was already conceding the fact that Newsome won and he lost.

I interpreted it the way it happened.. some website associated with Elder (even loosely) indicated Newsom won before it happened...

Dude, The state of California installed new voting rules like ballot harvesting, online voting and no ballot voter verification which makes it impossible to audit elections in California. The losers are the citizens of the state of California.
