Las Vegas shooting, automatic weapon used at outdoor concert

You ever hear a fully auto being fired? Apparently not. All you have to do is to listen to the videos of the gun rattling out its rounds. Fully auto. With a semi, even if you pulled the trigger as fast as you can, it never sounds like an auto.

A price you are willing to pay for arming civilians, the gunman very probably had no connection with any terrorist group. The NRA is now preparing their propaganda defence on selling more firearms to the public. If America had a massacre of this proportion every week it would have little or no effect on the attitudes of the gun nuts.

Admittedly most anti-gun liberals don't know the difference between full auto and an "automatic shotgun", but from the video, it appears the shooter was using full auto. Possibly an AK.

Looking at person who did the killing, Stephen Paddock and what we know, I can come up with some early ideas on why he did this:

---He was old and may have some terminal health issues, and wanted to go out in a blaze.

---He committed suicide with a recently purchased handgun just before the cops blasted his door open to get him. So a cowardly person.

---He was a mulitculturalist, and had an Asian girlfriend and/or common law wife, and was recently divorced from another wife.

----He tried to sue a local casino, but settled out of court. He was also a gambler, likely to have lost thousands playing.

----His victims were mostly White C&W music fans.

For all practical purposes, they are illegal, UNLESS you are a licensed fire arms dealer. You nor I can buy one. Which makes my statement true, for regular americans. I knew a dealer back in the late 80s who had one fully auto. But he could never sell it to me, a non dealer. So, not sure what the point is to being a dealer, and not being able to sell to regular customers. Unless it is for foreign sales. Probably is.

So if this guy is not a dealer, he broke federal law. Of course on some weapons, there is a way to go fully auto with them with the machining and parts. But that is illegal too.

My brother owns an arsenal, different riflles, shot guns, hand arms. And he isn't a gun nut loon, if that means a person who opens up on people for shits and giggles, or mental illness.

I own one 1911 Colt 45, to kill anyone who is foolish enough to barge into my home. I have shot it all of my life and never miss my target. I became acquainted with this firearm in 1968, while in the military. I love it. Does this make me a loon, this old 70 something FDR kinda of extinct democrat. Democrats used to have more sense when it comes to the 2nd amendment. Before the lunacy of modern liberal/progressives corrupted both ideologies. And turned them into fascists.

 

He was a gun dealer? Or did he have one that could be converted to auto, illegally?
