    It was faster and steadier than semi auto but slower than typical full auto

    Oh spare me that old NRA crap its pathetic, firearms are designed for one purpose and only one, even you can work that out. Trucks are designed to carry goods without which America would come to a standstill in weeks. While civilian life wouldn’t change a jot by becoming a gun free society, except by enjoying a much safer way of life.

    Rate of fire was distinct. A bit too slow to be from the m-16 or its variants imo. Sounded soviet to me, but I'm not putting money on a recording.

    You may be right on the soviet. My M 16 was faster, but I wondered if a kit had been used on some other rifle. I know some can be converted, illegally.

    I realize there's actual laws about fully auto weapons, but are you suggesting that withing the "gun culture" it's really hard to get an "upgrade"? I was under the impression that the illegal gun marketplace in America is YUUUUUGE, but I could be wrong.

    Any bets it was another Bernie loving, anti-Trump lib? The left have a track record of killing republicans, well they kill each other too but it being a country music event makes it seem like a place where Trump supporters might congregate and of course the left are in a frenzy of hatred and violence.
