MAJORITY OF DEMOCRATS BELIEVE TRUMP IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS WILL FAIL, PRESIDENT WILL COMPLETE FIRST TERM, SAYS NEW POLL

As the public hearings on impeachment proceedings continue against President Donald J. Trump, voters are reasonably sure the president will stay in office throughout his first term, according to a poll conducted by The Hill and HarrisX. Of those polled, 73 percent said that Trump would likely finish out his first term while 14 percent said it was unlikely. Thirteen percent of those surveyed weren't sure.

There was an increase in the number of Democrats who said Trump was likely to stay until the end of his first elected term with 56 percent responding positively, a 7 percent increase since an identical poll taken in October 2019. Democrats who said Trump would be unable to complete his term dropped by ten points, with 25 percent responding in the negative. Some Democrats were unsure, with 19 percent responding as such.

The percentage of Dems who think Trump will complete his first term has actually risen since October, and IMO is likely even higher after the shampeachment show this week which consisted of hearsay and feelz.

About 3 in 4 democrats believe this stunt will fail.

As it has become clear that Dems are unable to provide any new facts regarding impeachment-and that any house impeachment will lead to a Senate acquittal.

Interestingly, Trump's approval rating has also risen over the last few days.

He didn't obstruct justice because this is not a legal proceeding.

Its a dog and pony inquiry to "determine" if Trump should be impeached-which would never make it through the senate anyway.

 

It's an Inquiry to see if Trump acted against the Constitution ............. the Evidence is Piling up !!

Happens to be bringing the Corrupted actions of Trump in plain view of Americans

If Public opinions view Trump acted against the Constitution then the Senate will Vote for Impeachment

if not then the Corrupt Republicans shielding Trump will be voted out in 2020

1: I saw the tweet, nothing in it is even slightly intimidating. Anyone that thinks so is so thin skinned that they might as well be bleeding all over the place or are partisan hacks that are NeverTrumpers. It might have been crass and stupid to say. But intimidating it wasn't. Oh and anyone that is an ambassador to a foreign country being intimidated by it? WTH were they ambassador to begin with with such a thin skin?

2: There is no evidence displayed so far. All three witnesses so far have presented nothing more than at best 2nd hand information...most of it 3rd or 4th hand. Every official in Ukraine that has talked about this and was involved has denied any pressure. These witnesses have admitted that Ukraine didn't even know about the aid being withheld until LONG after Trumps phone call with them. Which means no bribery. No extortion. No Quid Pro Quo. Nothing. The aid was released without Zelensky doing anything. Nothing happened. This is a big nothing burger topped with bovine excrement and the Never Trumpers are gorging themselves on it and saying YUM!.

I'm going to vote next year. And I will remember this **** show that Democrats have put forth.

PS: Ironically this woman was removed from her position in April...she wasn't even around for any of this so why the hell is she a "witness" in any of this?

The viewership is abysmal, the effect of setting public opinion is minimal.

He'll be impeached, the Senate will hold their noses and acquit, and he'll run in 2020 in disgrace... it's a lock...

 

I suspect it won't "work." This belief is based non the fact that Senators linked to Trump have sold their souls their main mission in life, reelection. It's not because of any love for Trump. It is simply the fear of his base, being primaried, being tweeted, and losing Trump's blessing in the general election. That is why, unless something dramatic happens in the hearings to sway public opinion, Trump's Republicans will fall into lockstep with their vengeful god. As the man said, Trump eats your soul in small bites.

No matter how large a body of evidence, these Republicans value only one thing in their life, getting reelected. There willingness to sacrifice their duty, oath of office, and their sacred honor on the alter of Trump is appalling. That is why this will die in a disgraceful Senate.

 

He will run in 2020 with more galvanized support than ever.
