Millennials’ extreme hatred for Baby Boomers is totally unjustified

The only thing I think the baby boomers did that it's to the detriment of the generation preceding them is that they told them that they should follow their passion. This is the reason why there's all of these college graduates that don't have jobs and people in their twenties and thirties living with Mom and Dad. They were following your passion and got an education in something stupid and worthless and now they're flipping hamburgers and paying off student loans.

But understanding how baby boomers grew up I understand why they would say that to kids.

But in the greater scheme of things this doesn't really matter. It seems the media is really trying to turn people on one another, and I think this is because they are dying.

I'm a millennial and I'm not falling for it.

If Millennials hate baby boomers they must hate their Parents that had to work to raise them. Or their Grandparents that worked their butts off to give their Children a better life. My Son was born in 1988. Went to College while starting his own business, graduated and married, expanded his business, bought a home.

Refused taking money from us after Graduation.

    Is he a Millennial?

many conservatives have the me me me attitude and do not like social security because they think it's to help the elderly and do not think they should have to pay the social security tax like previous generations have

I think they too will grow out of it with time, it's just they are young

What you say is off the wall. It is not true. Liberals want socialism and to get Medicare for free while the elderly have paid in for years. I have not heard one Republican leader or one Conservative in my circle say such a thing.

Not conservatives, teaparty far right fiscal hawk conservatives, they are the minority and their initiatives to get rid of SS and medicare have always failed
Proof of that is Paul Ryan who I loathe and I am ecstatic he left congress, tried budget after to budget to destroy SS and medicare and he failed time and time again
He wanted to privatize SS and in the same bill give 25% tax breaks to corporations.

Most generations when they get a job, get married have a kid they forget all the liberal indocrtination they got in schools especially college, reality kicks them in the ass. If there was no Social Security and medicare there would have to be a way to take care of indigent seniors. At least with SS and medicare they pay into while working

I agree, but I think you sell Trump short, the left has always underestimated trump and they still are.
However, I think that the Mentally Deranged Imbecilic drivel that is spewed 24 hrs a day on CNN and MSNBC has slipped your mind, and the absolute lying trolls that are called their pundits. Reading the NYtimes is like reading a group of cheerleaders taking turns cheering each of the democrat nominees.

Trump rants and raves on Twitter, but there is no lack of whacky liberals doing far worse and some of them make alot of money doing what trump does for free :)

Oh, come ON, Butterballs! Who in their right mind would brag about their looks in an obvious attempt to vainly brag about themselves, knowing no one will believe that - especially having been caught posting something about a poster they're even MORE guilty of being?

    Never mind! :roflol:

Yeah, coming from a 58 year old who started the whole thing out by calling a 56 year old "So old". It isn't about age as it is about you accusing me of something you're even MORE guilty of. I'm pretty sure there's a word for that.

This is one of those things where I tell the kids at school that when you're pointing a finger at someone, you have three more pointing at yourself. Take this as a life lesson, MG.

the baby boomers are the most selfish generation, well, pretty much ever.
In their twenties, they made it all about them and treated older generations well, EXACTLY like they are being treated today. They knew what was up, and they were going to lead and the older squares needed to get out of the way.
In their fifties, they funded the bubble economy, hoping to get rich off of young internet creators
In their 70s they have used their numbers to shape elections around social security and their well being with nary a thought to the rest of the population.

I have zero problem with millenials and their desire to exercise their will on today's culture. That has been the way since time immemorial. The only difference is that there is one generation still clutching onto power the way they have for over 50 years.

I am well into generation X, and I fully support the' millenials in their quest for power. (though I really don't agree with them on many many issues)

The millenials are the laziest most dufus, dumb indoctrinated led by the nose want everything for free generation, they are the physically weakest the most effeminate. Most millenials cant even qualify for the military. They will be the end of america, they are mindless liberal trained wankers.

BabyBoomers took care of their parents, they always had respect for the elders, they opened doors for women and carried packages for them, these millienials never learned respect, they only learned I WANT IT FREE GIVE IT TO ME im entitled to it free. lol

    Got lotta more too :)

Funny that The Trump supporters don’t see their own hand in this problem. They elected a guy who insulted his way into office and who uses that office to continue his Twitter tirades to insult people across the country.

This is the example they applaud, but oh, no - it’s the young people’s fault. Whatever.
