If US citizenship obligates me to pay for the healthcare of people who aren't even citizens, then the very concept of the USA is meaningless.

 

Do the Japanese or the Swiss force their citizens to pay for the healthcare of foreigners who entered their country illegally? Or is that something that only Americans are expected to do?

 

Yes because taking care of them and their 10 children for the rest of their lives has to be cheaper than deporting them.
