I think they never should have Repealed The Propaganda Ban....but this is and means something much more different than it would in say Putin Media controlled Russia....still they should not have repealed it.

According to the rules they cannot state things that are false but you know how that goes.

It was repealed as an over reaction to Terrorist Internet Activities.

Thing is....if we really wanted to...we could eliminate these Terrorists....but some groups are left alone to serve other purposes.

    Plans within Plans.

A completely untrue and unfounded charge. I don't hero worship Chomsky - or anyone else for that matter. I simply think that you're being inaccurate about him and wanted to correct that. And interestingly, you have not posted any evidence to back up your assertions. Whereas I have.

Communists and socialists are not the same thing. Another entirely false statement from you (you seem to enjoy posting falsehoods don't you). And the thing is, you need only Goggle for five minutes to discover the fundamental difference between the two terms.

Now, please be good enough to post evidence of Chomsky's "millions including massive financing from the military"? I'll read that and get back to you with a post in response.

That, for me, is the crux of the matter. Most people rush hither and thither between Democrats/Labour and Republicans/Conservatives not spending enough time to analyze the weaknesses of this system. We call it "democracy" but it really isn't. It a hoodwink to keep the public mind thinking they have a say in return for paying their taxes - when they really don't have a democratic voice in any meaningful sense. Putting a check in a box once every four or five years, which takes about one second to do, represents the sum total of your power. Once a president or party has been elected pre-election promises to the electorate are marked by failure. Excuses multiply, until the next election and the whole sorry circus starts over again. Meanwhile, the really important political issues, foreign policy hardly ever arise as an election issue - other than as very specific cases, such as withdrawing from Vietnam etc. Wars are started regularly supported by votes in Congress, but what voice do the people have in that decision?

To be fair, most people would prefer to leave the details to the standing government, provided it can be trusted to do the right thing.

Problems come when the government can no longer be trusted to act in good faith.

People reject him because of exactly what he stated. They have been so brainwashed by Washington and their lapdog media. It's not about how many people believe Chomsky or not. It's whether or not he's right. Judging by your lack of actual rebuttal, he's spot on.

Yes. And I believe we've long reached the stage where government can no longer be trusted.
