I've seen hours of footage within the event, as many were streaming it. All of the groups in attendance are known movements on the far right in America. There is literally a zero percent chance that this was faked, but go ahead and count your apologetic effort as "skepticism."

 

You and I are talking about the Unite the Right Rally, which I thorughly paid attention to as a Social Democrat as history has had to teach people like me to pay very close attention to the rise of fascists. I watched hours of the streams so I could see what they were talking about inside and amongst each other, which was also very telling. I bet in this whole "you need to be skeptical bit" you are putting on that you haven't done near the amount of research on this event and merely assumed you did.

The video in the OP is pretty pointless beyond the announcement, and I can hardly stand Gavin on the CRTV adds that keep popping up on YouTube, so there is no way I can tolerate 45 minutes of his BS.

 

Proud "boys." Boys are all they are. Real men have better things to do then to go looking for a fight.

Except the last time they faced arrests . . . antifa had already been arrested first and Gavin was out bragging about how they were buddy-buddy with the cops. Several of their guys committed assault. You can find videos of it online. The victim card is pretty pathetic in this case. Now, Gavin himself? I think he's mostly approached this out of entertainment value, but some of his people are getting out of hand. His lawyer had probably advised him to step back for his own legal protection.

 

Being anti-antifa doesn't make you a good guy any more than being anti-fascist makes you a good guy. The idiocy of the people you oppose does not impart any nobility on you. You can be anti-fascist and still be a violent idiot. You can be anti-antifa and still be a violent idiot.
