Plenty of problems. A bill requiring national concealed carry reciprocity needs to be passed.

Gun control laws need to be prohibited by law.

The ecomological standards on the automobile industry need to be abolished so a pickup truck doesn't cost 80 grand.

A law prohibiting oil and gas exploration bans needs to be passed.

Illegal aliens need to be rounded up and deported.

    Lots of stuff.

Wrong. Again, why do you refuse to read the article in the OP? Let me try this another way...if Capitol Hill falls under the smoking ban LAW of DC, then how can the Repubs end the smoking ban for the Capitol? Wouldn't that mean they will be breaking the law????
I already answered your original question. What part of "I don't care if the smoking ban is lifted in the Capitol" do you not understand?

The Capital is Federal property. It isn't subject to DC city ordinances.

Are you choosing to ignore Capitol Hill not being subject to DC city ordinances for trolling purposes? That was a rhetorical question.

The blight of carcinogenic secondhand smoke would be assuaged if the neo-troglodytes retrogressed even further:

For generations, chewing tobacco was immensely popular in the House of Representatives. Members of Congress chewed with gusto,
and spat tobacco juice with equal enthusiasm. Receptacles for tobacco spittle- spittoons- were a common sight in the Capitol...

Admit you were wrong about claiming Capitol Hill is subject to the DC smoking law and I'll answer your other question.

Yes .. DC is its own unit .. not subject DC .. why you think your little gotcha matters is testament the hopelessness of your case.

Now answer the question .. do you support the DC/ USA smoking ban.

Thank you for admitting you were being disingenuous. I have no issue with a smoking ban.

But you already did admit that your claim was disingenuous. And you're continuing to be disingenuous by claiming I've lied. Which I haven't. But whatever...if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy then believe what you want.
Seems you're projecting with the compulsive liar screed....:D

That ban's removal in 2023 did not change any policy regarding smoking in a House member's own office, as some press reports implied. There has never been a ban on smoking in a Representative's own office.

So, not surprisingly, you are pro-death, pro-pollution, and pro-bigotry leading to recession. I'll make a note of it.

In adults who do not smoke, secondhand smoke exposure can cause coronary heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, and other diseases. It can also result in premature death. Secondhand smoke can cause adverse reproductive health effects in women, including low birth weight.

Yes, we are usually better off when the law makers are in the hallways puffing cigars as opposed to interfering on how the country runs, What do you want them to meddle with?

We come at this with such diametrically opposed points of view I don't think discussing it will be fruitful. But..........do you think there's a need for immigration reform?

Yes, there is a need, but I also know the law makers are not interested in it, so they can spend their days smoking cigars in the hallways.

I'm pro-small, less intrusive government that performs the duties the Constitution proscribed.

Illegal aliens aren't a race, or ethnic group. Unless you're claiming that there are no white illegal aliens. Are you?

You're right. We need that kind of government again.
