I forgot about abolishing the Department of Education and repealing the National Firearms Act.

Which does not negate the fact that it does.

As long as people keep voting for Democrats, you're right.

I know I'm right because that too will never happen. Do you ever have an idea that could ACTUALLY happen?

Neither side has the cajones to ban smoking because they make too much money off of the taxes.

Having separate flights for smoking & non smoking passengers, does not seem economically viable. For most passengers, the time element is primary, not whether or not they can smoke. But it would be unprofitable for the airline to double its flights to any given destination, I would assume (even if it was using smaller aircraft). Are you going to want to take a flight that gets you to your holiday weekend destination, 8 hours later (and then need to leave sooner, on a return flight), just so you can smoke, on the trip? That is what Nicorette gum (and nicotine patches, in serious addicts) are for.

I never heard about the jet fuel fumes inside planes, though-- do you have a link handy?

This idea CAN happen. Big difference between can and won't; impossible and improbable.

Nationwide? No, of course not, but this is about the Capitol, which used to be a smoke-free workplace, although reps were allowed to smoke inside their own offices. Rumor has it that John Boehner's office walls were yellow with tar from his 3 pack-a-day habit, and it had to be treated when he vacated.

Smoking in US has dropped from 40% to about 14% and lung cancer deaths are following the trend

I believe it! I am an ex-smoker and it took repainting and about 3 years for that smell to go away. AND ripping up a carpet.

LMFAO, and I have seen it not/never work ;) If it worked as you suggest the Medical community and Big Farma would have it crushed in to oblivion.

I bet you do, sort of like "Eyes wide shut" :) Don't get me wrong, I am a staunch promoter of the herb, even collected signatures in this red neck state to get it legalized, the difference in me and the bullshit'r is I'm honest about the whole thing.. If cannabis was everything the founding bullshit'rs claimed it was and could do, there would be no cancer(S), high blood pressure, heart attacks, seizures, need for glasses, Viagra, constipation, stress and the bullshit list goes on and on..

Clearly you and I view bullshit thru a much different Lence :)

I bet she doesn't use a THC salve, and I bet she is using a CBD salve ;) Tell her to use DMSO it works 1000 times better than CBD..

that should be up to the airline to decide

if one airline only offered smoking flights, they could be profitable off the smokers

"Smells on a plane: Have you been exposed to toxic chemicals while flying?"

    https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-12-17/have-you-been-exposed-toxic-chemicals-flying

    https://www.kivitv.com/nct/could-toxic-fumes-from-airplane-engines-be-putting-passengers-at-risk-1

"According to industry insiders, the source of that foul stench comes from how airplanes are designed. Air in airplane cabins comes from "bleed air" — air that begins as fresh air outside that enters the jet engine. After entering the engine, some of that air "bleeds" off, mixed in with recycled cabin air and then is pumped back into the cabin.'
