It's all a way to attempt and buy votes....raising the min wage to 15 would kill many lower income jobs, and then the tax hike on those few that do get it, would be eaten up.

The policies are nothign but job killers, and dependence creations

Bernie is already crossing lines that will kill him in the general election. He will continue to do so.

 

If you eat a healthy diet and stay active, you will still have to pay for those eating themselves sick and sitting on the couch. If you are the sick one, others have to pay for you, but being sick can hardly be considered a net benefit.

 

Raising a child in a loving home does not have to be synonymous with staying at home with said child during the working hours and indeed there is a massive segment of the population for which that type of arrangement would result in a decreased lifestyle for the child because they would be raised in an impoverished home.

This is not a program that would force anyone to enroll in a specific type of day care and it is not a program which would force anyone to refrain from staying at home with their child if that is their choice.

What this program does do is open up opportunities for those families would like to place their child into an otherwise un-affordable day care or education program for that child. That seems like a net benefit to society.

 

It’s not the govt responsibility and it’s not a judicious use of money. Its just Bernie socialist imagination combined with his imaginary unlimited federal checkbook funded by “rich people taxes”

But i hope he peddles it hard to the American public. This with the NGD will be two huge nails in his election coffin.

I already cared for young people, my three kids. I am done with paying for child care and do not like the idea of paying for someone's kid. But my wife and I were lucky we craked the way kids come into being and decided to wait until we had the mean to care for our children. I know that sound crazy to all those give me free stuff just because, but with good decision making things usually work fairly well.

 

And before Sanders citing my province program as a model, keep in mind that my income deductions are now at 43%... Soon I'll pay more than what I bring home...

That is the problem, you're not going to be able to find them fast enough. Thus, the standards will have to be lowered. Its been seen time and time again with the government. Especially the military during conflicts.
