No it wasn't. Or why wasn't Ted Cruz's birth certificate "challengeable"? Race. Commenting is not the problem. It is, at the least, a gross insensitivity that is unacceptable in a president. Who? You and me? No. A president? ABSOLUTELY. A president cannot afford to unduly offend nations. You should know that if your judgement is as good as you would have us think it is. That is a different era in a different climate, and it appears to be nothing more than a deflection. Anyone who would be president should possess integrity that is above that of the average racist who would red-line. He doesn't. So far all your "defenses" would compare him to the average crude, insensitive, cheater. Such a high bar! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13769 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, how very proper and honorable for a president! Colin Kaepernick is black, and he was protesting against racism with other team members joining him in protest. Trump's "SOB" statement was anger against what they did, ... -protesting racism. And you have had great difficulty figuring this out and you ended in apparent failure. Very interesting! No, they were very biased. So those were his words characterizing the need for assistance in P.R. Did anyone say anything like that when Katrina devastated the South, or was assistance provided? Trump, at the time, showed his utter stupidity by hi comments suggesting or claiming that Puerto Ricans weren't American citizens! WHAT A DOPE! You're going to have to prove that crap! It was an out-and-out LIE. You should recognize what is a "real thing"!
Assimilation is causation for degradation/humiliation because of an opinion? Ever hear of a little subject call logic?
Right! His rude comments were based on assumptions.... RACIST assumptions. And even in the case of these bogus arguments asserting his words weren't racist, such comments are grossly inappropriate for a president!
I'm not good at those things. A lot of people that everybody seems to agree are "colored" to me look white. I am exceptionally white, so I can't compare to myself. But I often compare the skin color of two people, one who is considered black or Hispanic-dark, and the other white, and I see no difference whatsoever. So, as far as skin color, I gave up a long time ago and I just go along with whatever they tell me.
When did socialist, anti-Semitic bimbos become a race? Otherwise I'm confused on that label of 'racism'. Plus Trump never once mentioned any specific names, how do we even know he was talking about anyone other than Hater Omar, the only foreigner in the group. Seems to all this manufactured outrage is based on a lot of liberal speculation...
So your argument is people are too stupid to see who he is talking about even though he confirmed it in later tweets? Oh, how did you figure out who he was talking about/
In an op-ed published Tuesday for NBC News, ADL president Jonathan Greenblatt did not mince words, calling Trump’s rhetoric “ripped straight from a white supremacist manifesto.” https://news.yahoo.com/anti-defamat...this-racism-184805174.html?.tsrc=bell-brknews
My argument is that most people don't care because the hypocrites whining about Trump are now standing shoulder to shoulder with people they called racist last week. Sort of takes the fire out of it...
Who? Never heard of the guy. Oh I get it, they are using this nobody because nobody will believe the other liberal hate mongers at the SPLC anymore...
From what I have been taught, you need more than four to be a squad. Using the "Rule of Three" a team consist of one leader and three subordinates. A squad consist of three teams who answers to the squad leader.
If you have never heard of the anti-defamation league that represents minorities and Jews then you are lost in the first place.
I would say you are naive and gullible. but I don't believe that's the problem. You will make up excuses for trump no matter what he does, because you don't care what he does, right? Or didn't you even bother to get the most basic facts straight. Puerto Rico is about 76% white and 24% non-white. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Puerto_Rico
The best argument for this is that it has racist undertones, but doesn't explain why the statements are racist.
So, it's an implication. In otherwise, it's all about how you perceive the tweet to be, which is irrelevant to the question. I just want to know what he said that was racist. Race isn't even mentioned anywhere in the tweets. You're assuming this; you haven't proven this. "He hasn't said it to anyone white" is a poor argument. Why can't Trump just make a comment simply about women of color; not specifically their color but their attitudes towards the United States. You seem to be suggesting white people and non-white people don't exist on a level paying field. You can't criticize non-white people because... reasons.
Racists almost never express their racism directly and clearly. Most of the time it is couched in suggestive words carrying implication. This allows those who would excuse racism to assert that "I don't think he meant it as a racist comment" or "I don't thing he realized what he was saying" or "he spoke before thinking". That is fine for the occasional casual comment, but we should expect more from our president! Repeated violations of a common sense awareness of speech is inexcusable for a president. No other president spoke as Trump speaks in racist terms. So it is a clear indication of him being a racist even without Michael Cohen's testimony to Congress under oath regarding Trump's repeated and clear, unambiguous racist comments that Cohen repeated from his recordings of conversations with Trump. But those comments make it beyond question.
