There is a solution to school shootings

Even today, when someone asks what can be done, righties are screaming YOU'RE NOT TAKING MY GUNS!!!

Even today, Republicans say it isn't time to talk about solutions. It is never the time according to Republicans.

 

What do you think happens to males who are told that their natural impulses are inherently bad, and they have to suppress those impulses no matter what?

They learn that they are a nuclear bomb, and if they are utimately pushed to the IDGAF stage, they are going to be that bomb.

 

There isn't any law which can stop the mentally ill from getting a gun. To think that there is, is a disconnect from common sense and reality. And americans will not be disarmed because we have crazy people. The NRA serves a purpose of standing up for the constitution and standing up to those who would destroy constitutional rights. I would rather them go to far than not enough in the protection of this basic american right. But I do not always agree with them. I would have no problem with limiting rifles to the traditional hunting rifle, smaller magazine capacity, as one would use for hunting. This is all you used to see when I was growing up.

 

Pre industrial by definition was agricultural. In that era women did the household duties while men toiled in the field. In early industrialization period very few women worked except extremely poor immigrants in sweat shops with no other choice. No coincidence this was the "gangs of new york" era.

 

Unfortunately gun "aficionados" offer NO real solutions...only excuses and roadblocks

Try something really unusual, like locked doors, screening visitors, and armed guards.

Here's a question: If you think every one of the gun proponents in America are insane, who do you think will be in charge of the government that prevents people from owning guns? What makes you think they will behave in a way that is more sane? What prevents an insane person from gaining far more power over society than an insane individual with a gun?

We're WAY over the top on this issue. There are any number of positions that other countries demonstrate as being more successful that the USA.

Why aren't there any mass shootings at gun stores?

Aren't guns, magazines and ammunition in abundance at the above places?

So, why aren't there any mass shootings at places where guns, magazines and ammunition are in abundance?

And why are there so many mass shootings at places designated as "Gun Free Zones"?
