To liberals: How many deaths are acceptable to you?

What are you doing to locate and help those people before they harm themselves or somebody else?

I vote and speak out against the war on men as much as I can, but people like me are pissing against the wind these days.
Its a deep problem. Around forty years ago the feminazis vowed to destroy the family unit. They haven't totally succeeded but they have made a lot of progress, and the results are evident. More and more people who have obviously not received a good up-bringing, and all the social ills that result from that.

How do we identify and help people before they do these horrible acts? Its a huge challenge. What can be done about somebody who hasn't committed an offense yet? Suspicious behavior is not a crime.

More and more we see kids being raised more by the schools than by the parents. If this is going to be the future the schools need to do a much better job, and I don't think it is the right way to go. We have to regain something we have lost. Unfortunately I have no idea how we are going to do that. The momentum is all in the wrong direction at this point.

 

No more sense than targeting " Muslims" or " blacks" for the actions of one or two people

Blame the NRA, the job, racism. Republicans, religions, the great pumpkin or whatever it takes to sooth your conscience but our society is getting sicker and sicker. Passing it off as a gun control problem is intellectually lazy, but it is non-judgmental which means the left will embrace it.

I can't think of one mass shooting that has been carried out by the type you describe - wife beating, bar fights, truck nuts, etc. Besides, those types are not what I was referring to as "real men".

 

Yeah, exactly. My point is that racists, misogynists, people motivated by hate in general are violent differently depending on who they are but they're all violent. Defining yourself by hate and aggression makes you violent. And regardless of what you personally think, the idea that masculinity means being aggressive and violent is common.

 

The problem is the notion that we need to save lives by any means necessary. But consider Canada. No one says Canada has a gun problem. Their gun violence rate is almost exactly 1/10 of ours. But they *also* have almost exactly 1/10 the population density we do *and* lower unemployment, both factors found to increase or decrease gun violence.

Its entirely possible that we've hit the point of 'dimishing returns' on gun control vs gun violence, and the cost of new laws both financially and constitutionally simply isnt worth the handful of lives that might be saved.

But the controllers keep spouting 'by any means necessary' including a potential raise in gun violence caused by less people having access to the means to successful self defense against such violence.
