    I met several Jewish men from the US who were working in KSA. They were all in sales.

    Been watching Trump in Saudi Arabia live on Fox News.

    Was curious what was happening over on CNN and MSNBC.

    So I checked out both CNN and MSNBC.

    Both are also covering President Trump live in Saudi Arabia with one exception, while they stream live feed from Saudi Arabia both CNN and MSNBC continue attacking Trump and yelling the Russians are coming.

    Nobody talks about their religion when they go thru customs anywhere. Your remark wasn't smart. Does your passport say anything about your religion? Mine doesn't.

    Ivanka and her dorky husband were supposed to be observing the Sabbath. Seems that their hypocrisy knows no bounds and they pushed that aside to suck up to the Saudis...Irony as well?

    Why would you go thru customs and immigration in any country and announce your religion? Are you trying to make a point of some kind?

    Do Jews routinely announce their religion when traveling?

    They have forsaken the Sabbath in favor of it so I guess so. Although, they have businesses in the ME so how is this trip so novel, other than the opportunity of kissing some royal Arab butt?

    I think it shows solidarity. I am sure that Melania will have dinner with the women of the al nahda society and they will visit Masmak palace and have dinner at the Murabba palace. Its standard fare..

    All you care about is bowing? Trump is selling hundreds of billions of dollars of weapons to a brutal regime that has killed thousands of Yemenese civilians to support their brutal government. So now they will be murdering with our weapons. They just bombed a funeral hall in Yemen killing and wounding hundreds of people. Yemen gets many 9/11s every year because of the Saudis.

    What do you think those oppressed Muslims are going to fell about being killed with US weapons? Will they see us as a beakon of freedom. Trump is trying to stabilize the middle east by propping up backward dictatorships that are against ISIS but this is only going to backfire just like arming the Shah of Iran, Bin Laden, Saddam backfired.

    Obama may have bowed to the Saudis but at least he cut off arms sales to them after their behavior, Trump is just giving in.

    Here is why your post is beyond obtuse...

    I pointed out the hypocrisy of an observant Jewish couple of forsaking the religion and traveling on the Sabbath...to a Muslim theocratic nation no less. Also, why would I give a **** if two parasites on the American taxpayer's dime did not go to Arabia? :wall:

    Trump is as ignorant as most Americans when it comes to Arabia...American women don't wear headscarves in Arabia. I went back for my fist visit in many years and in the invitation from King Salman was a note saying NOT to wear a headscarf..

    There is nothing backwards about the Saudi leadership.. Collectively they have far more experience than Obama or Trump in all facets of governance.

    The US wants to keep the Bab al Mandab open to shipping.. The al Houthis with Iran's help are trying to close it.
