Obama is going to jail! We can’t let this slide on this. We can never let this happen in this country ever again! Send a message!
You missed a few. Such as- Flynn gave them a plea to get the malicious dogs from attacking his family, and testimony since has confirmed that the FBI people didn't think he was lying anyway- and that the pleas should be withdrawn. That is pretty much what witch hunts do- disregard facts that get in the way of reaching a conclusion decided upon before the investigation even began. And in case you never noticed, meeting with russians is not illegal. What is illegal would be conspiring with them to interfere with the election- and we know, per testimony of investigators, that did not happen. Of course, investigating people under false pretenses is also illegal. I think that will be dealt with in time too.
It's known MacFarland was speaking with Flynn when instructions were given to him regarding what he should say to Kislyak. KT was Flynn's subordinate so she didn't have the authority to make the decision. Are you suggesting these decisions were made without Drumpf's knowledge?
Leaking that conversation to the press is a felony. Is Mueller investigating that? The FBI started investigating Flynn a year earlier after he supported a woman with a sexual harassment complaint against McCabe and others.
I'm not suggesting anything. I'm plainly stating that Flynn contacting Kislyak isn't a crime, and doing so on Trumps order isn't either. Flynns call was recorded. No one, Yates, Comey, Brennan, no one alleges the contact, or content was improper ... and Muellers indictment wasn't based on either.
Apparently Mueller isn't one of those "legal experts". As Mueller has sole proprietorship of Russiagate, I'd say Muellers (in)action speaks louder than words.
Mueller could seek to use the law as leverage over Flynn — and possibly Trump, if he were involved in the back channel with Kislyak, said Ryan Goodman, a law professor at New York University. "If the president-elect was involved in authorizing, instructing or encouraging Flynn to engage in a conversation with the Russians that violates the Logan Act, then Trump himself would be liable under federal law as an aider, abettor or co-conspirator," said Goodman, who served as legal adviser on national security to the Pentagon in the last year of the Obama administration. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...2589434a581_story.html?utm_term=.36eab331d5ec Is prosecution of Flynn and or Drumpf under the Logan Act a slam dunk? No. Is it a possibility? Yes.
Lots of assumptions are being made about what Mueller knows or intends to do based on what has transpired to date. Some if not most will turn out to be erroneous.
Again ... "facts". Flynns indictment is public record. I assume nothing. Flynn plead guilty to false statements, period.
Another meh. So...........now the song goes the Logan Act isn't enforceable, Repubs in the DOJ are corrupt, Mueller's probe is tainted, witch hunt, okay so we spoke to a bunch of Russians but there is no law against collusion, Donnie J was too stupid to know what he was doing, testifying about the truth is a perjury trap, the Deep State is out to get me, they were spying on me, the dossier is fake, in other words..............“If the facts are against you, argue the law. If the law is against you, argue the facts. If the law and the facts are against you, pound the table and yell like hell.”
So........."Apparently Mueller isn't one of those "legal experts". As Mueller has sole proprietorship of Russiagate, I'd say Muellers (in)action speaks louder than words".........the implication being inaction now means he will not act..........is just an assumption, not a fact.
I am stating that Mueller hasn't filed additional charges, obtained additional indictments, or alleged a wider conspiracy related to Flynns conversation with Kislyak. I'm not predicting anything, I'm reciting the "facts".
None of this has any bearing on whether or not the FBI/DOJ was doing illegal things. If this was in fact the case - and there is a whole lot of evidence building up that shows this was in fact the case - it should be investigated. If the FBI/DOJ were doing illegal things - things that "meddled with our election process" - this is a way bigger deal than "Russian collusion".
Trump is in dangerous territory meeting with Rosenstein. While it is true he works for Trump he is also the head of the DOJ for Trumps case. If Trump loses his cool, which is likely, he could in fact incriminate himself.
Ah, yes. The Conspiracy Theory. "Desperate" or not,the fact is that the CIA and FBI did, in fact, find collusion of the Trump campaign with Russia. 19 people and 3 companies Indicted (so far), including one doing prison time and 5 who have confessed. So... you want to investigate Obama? Go for it! I am all in favor of investigating the Obama administration. But that's not going to exonerate any of those involved. And it's certainly not going to save Trump from the part he is involved in.
Sorry. But comparing baseless conspiracy theories to actual investigations only works on Trump fanatics.
Only Republican Presidents. But it's a good point. We now the Reagan campaign colluded with Iran. I don't know about the 2 Bush, though. You have anything on them? All I can say is that they were smart enough to not get caught. Trump is not smart enough.
