Donald Trump never would be given a chance by the likes of you, who can never refer to him without slanderous name calling. In spite of a robust economy, ISIS greatly diminished and our enemies held in check. So your testimony is "worthless".

Obama was a tool, he wasn't in charge. Clapper and Brennan dream about dismantling FISA, and doing away with congressional oversight. Impossible to ascribe political affiliations because these are the founders of a new party. Neo-Socialist Overlords.

Yes! It's called "The Russian-Trump Campaign collusion investigation" Unfortunately, most have been fired in order to obstruct it. There are also many more with those results: the Stormy Daniels investigation, the Emoluments Clause violation investigation, the Republican Campaign Financing investigation, .... and many many more.... This Administration is up to its neck in corruption.

Interesting. I confess I didn't know that folks like Manaford, Papadopulous, Flynn, Rick Gates,... were also indicted for trolling Facebook.

Do you have a link? Are you a believable source?

Not as intelligent, but equally dishonest.

Never! That's the point. Trump is the first to do it.

Probably the dumbest "scandal" ever fabricated. I mean, they created a "scandal" against the IRS for doing it's job? Unbelievable.

Not much content in the rest. Just a bunch of wingnut media talking points It doesn't even address this thread's subject. Is the point that good that you can't respond to it?

You should have maybe excluded the FB trolls from your score card. What happened to the indictment / confession in re collusion that I asked you to post? Manafort / Gates tax evasion doesn't really interest me, and you did say "the CIA and FBI, did in fact, find evidence of collusion ..." so I'd like to see the indictment, or confession that corroborates your assertion. I'd settle for Rosenstein, Mueller, or even Comey, formally alleging the campaign colluded with Russia.

There is a lot you will have to respond to....but you won't. Like Partisan spies from the FBI in the Trump Campaign.

You picked the wrong person to use that pathetic excuse as cover for your lack of arguments. I have never refused to answer a direct question relevant to any of my statements.

That's what I'm asking you to do: clarify. Where did you see anybody saying that Trump was not over the DOJ? Don't bother, though. We all know you just made that up!

The OP's position is silly. One would have to believe the DOJ and Presidency are seperate branches of government to have such a position.

You mentioned the Reagan campaign in 1980.

Former president Carter traveling to North Korea in 1994 to defuse the crisis is an obvious one.

Likewise Carter lobbying U.S. allies not to join the U.S. in invading Iraq in 2003.

"False statements and omissions" ... as corroborated by the the link, and transcripts. Not seeing "colluding or conspiring" with Russia though. :confuse: You read the plain text. 1 charge, 1 plea, 1 offense ... lying. It's really inexplicable to me that you provide a transcript that absolutely confirms my contention, and insist that plain text doesn't mean what I think it means. Do you want to double down and link the Russian FB troll indictmen, which doesn't include any charge or allegation of "collusion, conspiracy, or coordination" with Trump, or campaign staff? I'm sure you're reading something else between the lines of that plain text too.

But Nixon was smart enough to try to do it in secret. Trump is such an idiot that he does it in a Tweet.

Yesterday, Trump had this to say at his news conference with South Korean President Moon.

"A lot of people are saying they had spies in my campaign." No, a lot of people are not saying that. Only Trump is saying that.

Then Trump went on to say this.

"If they had spies in my campaign, that would be a disgrace to this country. That would be one of the biggest insults that anyone's ever seen. That would be very illegal, aside from everything else. It would make, probably, every political event ever look like small potatoes. But if they had spies in my campaign -- during my campaign -- for political purposes, that would be unprecedented in the history of our country."

With this statement Trump's paranoia, incompetence, vindictiveness, and naiveté is on full display. It is incomprehensible that an American President would attack his own government is such a way based entirely on "if's." His accusations are entirely his own, and he offers no proof of his statements because there isn't any. He made up the allegations. He admits that he bases his remarks on what he read in the newspapers. "But some man got paid, based on what I read in the newspapers ..."

His statements are completely ludicrous, dangerous, and constitute a Constitutional crisis.

Next he tells us that, on his orders, the DOJ is going to present the evidence against him to Republican members of Congress on Thursday.

"As you know, the Congress would like to see documents opened up. I think the Department of Justice wants to get down to it, and I can tell you Congress does. So hopefully they'll all be able to get together. General Kelly's going to be setting up a meeting between Congress and the various representatives and they'll be able to open up documents, take a look and find out what happened."

Kelly will not be a part of the meeting. No one in the White House will be present at that meeting. Some bright lawyer told Trump White House participation in that meeting would constitute clear obstruction of justice.

That said, with each passing day the President is getting more and more involved in an investigation of the President. With each passing day Mueller continues to tabulate the number of incidences of obstruction of justice.

Trump wants to be impeached. No other conclusion can be reached as he defies his lawyers, can't keep his mouth shut, and insists on involving himself in the investigation. This is an almost daily occurrence.

Why? He wants to be the star, the center of attention. The impeachment of the American President is the epitome of drama with Trump in the staring role. He does not care about his Presidency. He has no interest in it. He does, however, care about having the staring role in an impeachment trial.

The Democrats are not talking about impeachment. The Republicans are.

Putin is more than pleased. He chose wisely. Trump is bent on tearing this nation apart.

We shouldn't count it out. He probably hires people to say that kind of things to him every morning. Maybe "a lot of people" even. Who knows... ;)

He might want to be impeached this year, as opposed to next when Democrats will have more presence in Congress. This year Republicans in the House who voted for impeachment would fear not being re-elected. So he feels he has those under control I don't know if they constitute over a third of the House. But next year there would be far fewer he can control, not being an election year.

Or maybe he's just a psycho...

And they are also the ones who want to close the Mueller investigation as soon as possible. At least the Trump Caucus is. And I believe what I said above is the reason.

Whoever is elected President in 2020 is going to have quite a task fixing this mess....
