A scientist couples the reference with other data to make it meaningful.

Be a scientist you claim to be. Read it all. The suggestion was to plant trees.....considering how fast one can plow a tree under compared to growing it to a size .......it’s secondary. But you knew that

Remove the tree and plant the field and new vegetation replaces the tree which also converts CO2 to O2. If more CO2 results, the vegetation flourishes which converts CO2 to O2 at an even higher rate. It is a magnificent system. Trying to impresses everyone with football field references accomplishes nothing.

Like....a tree can be replaced by vegetation ? The functionally destroyed tree must be replaced by one with the same working life....you also can’t grow it in the same place and use up nutrients for valuable farming...So unless you have cooperative efforts by each country...”climate change accords.”;It’s secondary to cutting emissions.

People are smarter then you....were trying to do things like this mow It’s like treading water in a current. You’re still falling behind.

It is offset and whatever levels of CO2 that result will reach a new equilibrium. You don't necessarily have to replace them all. And all that assumes that the CO2 is the major cause to start with.

All of this begs a question. Why did Trump shut the government down after the Democrats won the House? If he wants his wall so bad, why wasn't it a huge issue for him during the first two years of his Presidency when his party controlled both houses of Congress?

The answer is, Trump is not interested in good governance. He is only interested in creating chaos in our government. It is why he makes no attempt to broaden his support beyond his base. He is satisfied with his 40%. It is why his base stays with him. They voted for him because the incompetent idiot would cause chaos at the highest level.

Trump's benefactor, Putin, is also pleased. Surrendering Syria to Russia was a nice touch.

Not wanting open borders is not chaos. Also, why did democrats vote for a physical barrier in the past, but say no this time? They are so desperate not to give Trump a win, its pathetic.

Yes and it's not like any of these democrat buffoons will beat him in 2020 anyways. They should be happy that they at least control the house. They are lucky they have any control of government with the way they are acting.

Trump had been denied funding for his wall that he repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for and most Americans do not want for two years of Republican control of Congress, but delayed his tantrump until Americans had rewarded those two years by giving him a Democratically-controlled House to rail against.

His wall would confront years of litigation, especially in Texas, as he attempted to seize the private property of Americans all along the border. It is not a realistic prospect.

For him, not being given his wall is a winner with his fanatical worshipers, most Americans be damned.

His fantasy wall serves him as a diversion from the progress of the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel's investigation.

The Democrats offered Trump $25B for his wall early last year. Trump turned them down.

According to McConnell, Trump agreed to sign the CR passed in the Senate on Dec. 19. On Dec. 20, Trump changed his mind.

I will ask you. Under these circumstances, would you make a deal with Trump?

Trump has no long range plan. He just lives from one compliment to another.
