The world suffered under 8 years of Obama. We had a great opportunity to stabilize the Middle east and instead Obama made a complete mess out of it.

Obama was a spineless twerp when it came to foreign policy.

Well, we sort of did that and now we have a massive refugee issue and the Syrians using chemical weapons on their own people. They were doing the same under Obama and he, stupidly, pulled troops out of Iraq.

I thought Obama got Bashar al-Assad to give up all is chemical weapons?
as a mater of fact Susan Rice just a few months ago said one of Obama's greatest accomplishments was getting Assad to give them up
So I guess we can add this to the long list of Obama failures

No, it was the West, namely the U.S., that stired the Middle East with the war in Iraq, Afganistan, Libia...
And now we have millions of angry invaders in Europe.

If we got a plan B, yes, but we don't have one. We don't have any solutions.

If we could put out Assad and his clan, it would be marvelous, but for that we need a really serious peace plan and we don't have any.

Trouble in the Middle has been going on since the end of WW2. Syrian issues and Iraq started under Obama. Bush had troops in Iraq and it rebuilding. Do some homework on this and see for yourself. You will be surprised.

I think USA have done enough. It's not your role to be the world peacekeeper and you should care of your country before that. A lot of people died because of that, and you don't have to sacrifice your own young people for those wars. USA have enough problems to deal with without needing to care of the problems of other countries. I don't really like Trump, but the fact he wished for USA to intervene less outside USA was rather a good news.

Killing people is killing people. Thousands of children and other innocent people were already murdered in that war. The war could continue without B El Assad. The fact they used gas is dramatic, but it's war, and the worst kind of war, a civil war. It's dramatic, but even if we killed B El Assad, it wouldn't not mandatory improve the situation. What we need is not putting down Assad, it would be to make that war stop. Their is already enough dead people, and the wish of revenge in that kind of war is an obstacle for peace. Seeking for justice and revenge is natural and a good thing most of the time, but their is a war in Syria we can't stop. And we can't stop that war to exist in the most horrible aspect of war, the death of the innocent, rapes, violences, people mentally broken or turned into monsters.

That's exactly my point. Why did the U.S. go to Iraq in 2003? Where were the WMDs they were looking for?
Just leave the Muslims alone so long as they are not attackig you. Or declare war and wipe them out, if you think they have attacked you.
