As the brother of someone who buys several hundred dollars worth of food from food stamp recipients for cash every month...

I'm guessing it's higher than you think.

Not to mention, I remember one article about how much cash was pulled from an ATM at a strip club in Houston. Thousands and thousands of dollars.

Bernie Sanders paid a 14% tax rate, but wanted socialislzed everything.

Did you accuse him of the same thing, or nah?

Umm, union genius, there is plenty more work to be done besides picking up trash on the roads.
Incidentally, unions, which you love so much, were formed for strictly RACIST reasons, to keep blacks off the job.
Aren't you proud? And aren't you proud that union employment continues to decline nationwide?

When you add it all up its 4% and thats about 3 billion. Why do you believe 3 billion is an underestimate if you have only seen "thousands and thousands?"

Many thousands of dollars of food stamps issued in California are cashed in on Caribbean cruises and Hawaiian resorts.
    What do you think?

Sorry, but no. I work hard for my money, and couldn't afford to have as many children as my wife would have liked. I don't see why some welfare thot should be allowed to reproduce on my dime.

    Do you?

Asinine post on your part. Some women who ALREADY have children loose their job or their husband. And even if not, do you really want to punish the kids for the poor choices of their parents? Think before you post.

Look, I didn't choose whoever got her pregnant. She did. So I'll just say no, I don't want to pay for her to reproduce. What about the kids? Damn, tough luck on them, but what do you want me to do? Pay for her kids? No!

The "odd man out" group any reasonable person would choose would be those who cannot afford to pay for their own choices. We have certain basic freedoms and rights that extend to all citizens. Government (taxpayer) assistance for the basic necessities of life with no strings attached is delineated NOWHERE in the documents defining those. Those assistance programs evolved later, PERMISSABLE under certain "interpretations" of said documents but in no way a REQUIREMENT of the government to provide. And again, I'll disagree with you that requiring certain behavior from those who choose to utilize government assistance in any way curtails freedom. It's still a free choice to apply. No one is guaranteed to always have palatable choices. The worst thing this country ever did to its citizens was to destigmatize long-term reliance on taxpayers for support for personal choices.

Make it "WorkFare", end Welfare and combine it all with Food Stamps.

    Why separately administer these programs.

And your idea is that people who could otherwise afford children if they weren't paying for hers should do without...

    Sorry, but no.

And if you were to suddenly pass or become incapacitated, and your wife and children fell on hard times - you would be OK if they starved in the street - if society didn't have their backs - got it - will put you down for father of the year.

and you don't want children born to good parents who can afford them, preferring to take their money and give it to irresponsible people who will spread their inferior genes and work ethic.

We disagree. The only difference is that we disagree what to do with my money. You want to give it to some bimbo who can't keep her legs shut, and I want to keep it because I know how hard it is to make.

with all these great "jobs" that were created, I can't see why we need a food stamp program at all.

These progressives don't care about kids. They care about votes and political power. He was given a very basic decision to make which was to decide between using limited resources to raise one child or another. He chose the child born to poverty rather than a child born to a good home with two parents who can afford to pay for it.

He knows that lots of people don't have children because they simply can't afford them. He just doesn't care. He knows that the kid born to some welfare mother will probably vote for democrats/socialists.

That's all he cares about. The decision to choose between a child born to a two parent family in a house and love isn't good enough. He'd take my money and your money, and give it to some woman with limited intelligence and a complete inability to pay for the kid, so that means those of us who have to pay for that kid will have to do without.

He knows this. He just doesn't care. Votes are more important than children.

Perhaps educate yourself about "widows & surviving children" benefits. We've generously provided for such events. You're welcome.

California agriculture claims ICE has created a catastrophic shortage of workers. Jerry Brown needs to go to Compton & Watts with buses, lots of buses.

Ignorance is a common trait of Republicans. The vast majority of those collecting SNAP benefits are hard working Americans. The "Welfare Queen" and the "Drug addict" collecting food stamps is overwhelmingly a myth invented by Republicans that's been debunked so many times it's not even worth doing again.

"Forced Black Labor" (the right-wing proposal above) seems to have a lot in common with slavery. Why is that not surprising.

I wonder if Republicans even know that whites, many of which are Republicans, receive more government welfare benefits than blacks.
