She has the governor experience, but either way would be fine with me. At least we wouldn't have to worry about either of these people going off on fundraising trips during world crises. ;)

Elizabeth Warren is so... unexciting. I'd think the DNC would go for Wasserman-Schultz before her. At least she's got the clown thing going for her.

I disagree. I think the Democrats best chance is to pull the race/sex card for all it's worth. Although I think Obama has been an incompetent disaster for the country, he accomplished more in his first two years of office than any President since LBJ, with none of LBJ's political skills. And he's effectively stymied political discussion in this country to opposing Obama equals racism. Notice we don't even talk about actual issues or policy anymore. Political discourse has turned into Democrats calling Republicans racists and or sexists, and Republicans defending themselves. If you are explaining, your losing. If you have a white guy Democrat running the campaign might turn to issues, and if I was a Democrat, that's the last thing I would want discussed. War on Women, War on Blacks, War on fill-in-the-blank... that's where Democratic success is, and that's the "issues" I expect to dominate this year's election.

No question it's Identity Politics being practiced. That and the additional
element of madcap power grabbing. We all fully realize, because we've been told
Gazillions of times how It's Hillary's time. It's her turn.Just learn to live with it.
It's more than baked into the cake. History is the one who's gotta learn to
just catch up and Bee 4 real.
Which again takes us back to La La Land and how democrats think.
Not only do they feel entitled but they also feel entitled to be entitled.
Very dangerous combination. As Unamerican as it gits.

Not only the obvious optics of 2 really pretty/handsome patriots standing
side by side { defines our heritage } but also an imbiding message of
togetherness and comradeship.A Woman and a man. A White and a Black.
Do you somehow feel threated by that, just because of political affiliation.
If so then all I can say is the Dimcocrats have shor nuff accomplished
their mission of rank hyper-partisan hypocrisy. That a Female republican
and a Black republican somehow deserve some if not much contempt.
Based on what. Just the hyper-critical hypocrisy of a Party who exists to
do little else.Meaning to Divide & Conquer when political persuation is
the easiest tool in the garage to reach for.

Your use of the term 'token black' speaks volumes. I'd be willing to bet you voted for the Dem's token black, huh?

    Bring it on!!!!!!

What a media circus that would be. Palin and West each trying to out stupid one another.

Actually, it would be a nightmare for all the right wing back room groups. These two clowns have been walking cash registers for them.

$22.00 is the total household minimum wage needed in Indiana. In a household of 5, with one working adult, that is how much is needed.

With 2 working adults, which is what many households have now days, each person needs to make around $12.00

Using this logic, a household with 4 working adults would only require each person to earn $3 an hour.

What kind of equality is it when a single person earns the same as the breadwinner of a family of 5?

"Living Wage" is such a farce. Where in our Constitution are we guaranteed the right to earn enough to live alone?

Progressive’s Law of “Millionaire Denialism” as explained by Kemosabe.

"Those with power fight to make sure every rule tilts in their favor. That's what democracy is up against." —Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren headlines the 2014 NetRoots Conference in Detroit:

Right on! Right on! Right on! The most progressive wing (NetRoots) of the most progressive party convened last week in Detroit (where else?) to demand human rights for the victims of the city’s racist and inhumane water shutoffs and to unofficially acknowledge that Elizabeth Warren is Barry’s heir apparent.

Government should be the employer of last resort.
And if the best they can do is pay you to stay home, it still changes "the thinking".
Consider people have to move as a job requires.
Should someone who cannot support themselves but, wants to live in NYC or San Francisco be supplemented by government as if they have a right to reside where they chose.
The Employer of Last Resort can "move you", like a business can.
You may chose to move or quit. But, if you quit you are on your own.

Barack did nothing to improve the lives of poor people. Well he did create more, poor people.
His precious Black Community is worse off today than when he took office.
    Hillary is Barry's heir apparent.
Warren, like Paul, represents real change. That is why to monied don't like them.

Wake up and smell the :rose: :rose:

Insiders say there's no love lost between Barack & Hillary and if she's smart, she'll stay as far away from him as possible. With an approval rate around 40%, Obama's not exactly who any Dem should hitch their wagon to.

I see a resemblance between Elizabeth & Barack in that they're both dreamers.

And liars, of course. Then again, they're Democrats, so that's not surprising.

That there is no love lost between Hillary and Barry does not mean,
that Warren would carry on the "rich get richer" economic policies of Clinton/Bush/Obama.

Consider Warren, similar to Paul, the best anti RepubloCrats out there.

I'd strongly consider voting for even with the stupid Native American controversy. Easily better than most of the other potential candidates. However she has continues to say that she will not run, so this is basically irrelevant,

That ship sailed when they did their last '60 Minutes' together. They sat next to each other and agreed on every single policy, decision, plan, action, values, and everything else you can imagine. If Barack is struggling, you will see the two of them in every commercial with Hillary saying she agrees with every single thing he's done.

personally, I would just as soon have a working market, where companies had to compete for workers, but the corporatists succeeding in destroying the market with free trade, and now companies simply send the work to China. Back before free trade, companies had to actually pay a living wage to get workers at all. We need to abolish free trade and tell Nike and Apple to go (*)(*)(*)(*) themselves, and if they don't like it, they can move out of the US, and other companies will take their place, which is how capitalism is supposed to work to begin with.

Minimum wage laws would not even be needed if we did not have free trade. But, the government needs to interfere to protect the interests of the working class when the elitist scum works to rig the system.

    Substantiate the Lie, please.

If it was the Native American manure, it does not bother me.
Lots of people have Family Lore that doesn't match up to reality and that is apparently what happened to her.
And even if the worst of it is "true", I don't consider it a "veto" to my support.
I mean doing what how long ago compared to what by them 6 months ago - talk about personal gain.
