Warren is perfect for the presidency. Can only imagine the clueless being elected there these days.

Might not bother you, but it was a deliberate lie for personal gain. Big red flag... no matter how you slice it.

I think America is sick of being lied to. 'They all do it' doesn't fly anymore.

Just MHO. I'm sure dedicated Dems will vote for whichever liar the DNC puts out there.

PolitiFact Says Republicans Lie Three Times More Often Than Democrats, According To New Study

Republicans lie more — at least according to the Tampa Bay Times’ PolitiFact. A new study found that the fact-checking operation finds Republicans to be less trustworthy than Democrats, based on the number of false claims made during President Obama‘s second term.

The study, by Center for Media and Public Affairs (CMPA) at George Mason University, took into account 100 PolitiFact-checked statements made by Democrats (46 claims) and Republicans (54 claims) in the first four months of Obama’s second term. The results? PolitiFact deemed Republicans were loose with the facts three times as often as their left-leaning counterparts. http://www.mediaite.com/online/poli...-often-than-democrats-according-to-new-study/

Funny... I thought this thread was about Pocahontas Warren, not Republicans.

Hope deflection works for you. ;)

You opened that door when you said something to the effect that of course she lies , she's a Democrat and went on to characterize Democrats as sexist and racist as well. Here is more:

Whatever... unless you can post vids of a Rep telling the same lie to the American people 36 times, you've got nothing.

Dems are master liars... and Elizabeth Warren is a Dem.

She is also clearly a liar who will use lies for self-promotion. Only someone who was stupid enough to believe President Obama would be stupid enough to believe Sen. Warren.

Elizabeth Warren represents everything that is wrong with "progressives" and the ever-increasingly radicalized Democratic party today. Anyone who has cringed at her own "You didn't build that!" rant can see she is a dishonest, divisive, economically illiterate, extremist hypocrite.

In short, Warren is the Queen of the Babeuvian Illiterati. Of all the politicians on the Left, it's disappointing in the extreme to see this neo-Jacobin charlatan held up as presidential material.

You'll get over it, or not

    Elizabeth Warren's 11 Commandments of Progressivism http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/elizabeth-warren-s-11-commandments-of-progressivism-20140718

    - "We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we're willing to fight for it."

    - "We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth."

    - "We believe that the Internet shouldn't be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality."

    - "We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage."

    - "We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them."

    - "We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt."

    - "We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare, and pensions."

    - "We believe—I can't believe I have to say this in 2014—we believe in equal pay for equal work."

    - "We believe that equal means equal, and that's true in marriage, it's true in the workplace, it's true in all of America."

    - "We believe that immigration has made this country strong and vibrant, and that means reform."

    - "And we believe that corporations are not people, that women have a right to their bodies. We will overturn Hobby Lobby and we will fight for it. We will fight for it!"

And the main tenet of conservatives' philosophy, according to Warren? "I got mine. The rest of you are on your own."

You guys really shouldn't make the mistake of confusing contempt with fear. You can do better than that.

The accolades of a British rag that was founded by a bunch of socialists is something to get over?

It's true - you learn something new every day. :)

Whichever way the wind blows... there goes Kemosabe Warren.

Before 1996 some Republicans had some good ideas and wanted what was best for the American People, just with a different take on how to get there. They were nothing like the ass hats of today's GOP

Why Elizabeth Warren Left The GOP

I was an independent. I was with the GOP for a while because I really thought that it was a party that was principled in its conservative approach to economics and to markets. And I feel like the GOP party just left that. They moved to a party that said, “No, it’s not about a level playing field. It’s now about a field that’s gotten tilted.” And they really stood up for the big financial institutions when the big financial institutions are just hammering middle class American families. I just feel like that’s a party that moved way, way away. http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2014/04/27/3431303/warren-left-gop/

All this could have been stated much more succinctly. "We believe in command and control Government. With high taxes and stagnant growth"

Good to see you're Johnny on the spot at making excuses for her. Gonna come in handy if she runs.

    ;)

Hey! Maybe she'll decide to switch back and try for the Republican nomination. Then you can attack her for being wishy washy!

Call it what you want. It's preferable to a plutocracy run by the banksters and corporate war lords. What do you think that greed and the rape of the working class and the environment is good for America? Unless you are very wealthy, you are a big time sucker for supporting Republicans

She will never switch back. She is to principled

Principled people don't make up their heritage.

Republicans rededicated themselves to slashing taxes for the wealthy in 1997, the average annual income of the 400 richest Americans has more than tripled, to $345 million – while their share of the tax burden has plunged by 40 percent. Today, a billionaire in the top 400 pays less than 17 percent of his income in taxes – five percentage points less than a bus driver earning $26,000 a year. "Most Americans got none of the growth of the preceding dozen years," says Joseph Stiglitz, the Nobel Prize-winning economist. "All the gains went to the top percentage points."

The GOP campaign to aid the wealthy has left America unable to raise the money needed to pay its bills. "The Republican Party went on a tax-cutting rampage and a spending spree," says Rhode Island governor and former GOP senator Lincoln Chafee, pointing to two deficit-financed wars and an unpaid-for prescription-drug entitlement. "It tanked the economy." Tax receipts as a percent of the total economy have fallen to levels not seen since before the Korean War – nearly 20 percent below the historical average. "Taxes are ridiculously low!" says Bruce Bartlett, an architect of Reagan's 1981 tax cut. "And yet the mantra of the Republican Party is 'Tax cuts raise growth.' So – where's the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing growth?"
