    Not even a fool would make that assertion. The communist party of China aren't now, and haven't become, nor will likely become capitalists. That they can fool you though, well, that doesn't seem hard to do...

    Every damn time someone makes the argument that socialism doesn't work I point out China and their economy only to be told they are not communist or socialist...I wish yous guys would get on the same page wit da rhetoric..

    Nobody Wants to work except those few that have jobs they love
    Also, we can never go back to the good ole bartering days. You know, I come by and trade you some dear meat for some cow milk.
    I'd love to go back to those times but it will never happen..not at least until total worldwide destruction happens first

    Which didn't stop him from pursuing tariffs at personal cost.

    Originally the belief was that introducing capitalism into China would help them progress out of communism, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

    This is the sort of stuff me and my buddy in high school used to think up on four way windowpane! We had lots of good idea until the next day when we were back in reality!

    I'm gonna put on "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" and read it again, if that doesn't help I'll do a ONCE in a blue moon hit of wax and see if it gets any clearer, BUT THAT AS FAR AS I GO!

    And on the other hand "I DEMAND" they work and help me fix roads, pay gubmint expenses and the other "I don't want to work" idiots.. Fair enough right, they demand I demand..

    Aside from financial, I work because I enjoy having something to do with my time. I have many friends who are recently retired and, without proper planning, they find themselves without purpose. I like being 'a part' of something. Not everyone who could sit on their butts all day, would.
