    All bridges have weight limits, and interstate roads have a requirement to handle the heavy hauling cargo trucks. In the end, the use of the roads will take its toll, even with commercial use.

    July 4th is the American people's holiday and has been for 240 years. It was never meant to be a celebration of a wannabe dictator. Yet, that is what this Washington, D.C. July 4th now represents. Once again, Trump has managed to destroy everything he touches. Military hardware on the mall, jet flyovers flanking Trump's speech from the Lincoln memorial -- how very patriotic. The MAGA hats will go crazy.

    July 4 (technically, July 3) celebrates the defining moment we as a nation declared our independence.

    I don't normally watch any of the TV events celebrating July 4th, but this year will be different.

    I will make it a point to not watch this year.....

    Trump is a fool and this is his next to last July 4th in power, and not in court defending himself...

    The only thing I find "sad" is the attitude expressed in your post.

    Most Americans enjoy and support 4th of July celebrations. Every year there are parades and fireworks across the country.

    But when Trump wants to celebrate American independence, now the leftie-extremists hate parades and 4th of July celebrations and are trying to twist things into an excuse to liken Trump to third world dictators and Putin. :roll:

    Your attitude says more about you than it does about Trump or the 4th of July.

    I think it sounds like it's going to be a great celebration. There is nothing wrong with Americans taking pride in their country or celebrating it's independence. I'm happy to once again have a President who loves this country.

    we had military grade roads here, 16" solid concrete rebarred, on top of 12-16" rca... they've systematically dug it all up and replaced with a few inches of blacktop... dems here call it progress :rolleyes: yet needs to be replaced every few years, job security for the hwy dept
