So you're against Ubamacare? You only think government should be involved in the healthcare you want them involved in.

Interesting. So I take it you do not support the involvement of Federal government in the provision of medical procedures and care?

I would tend to agree with this statement. Voluntary interaction is the most preferable form of social organization.

With that being said, I'd think it'd be difficult to support your previous statement that you found this reasonable considering it's intrusive and not voluntary.

I reckon your reply would be something about abortion being elective, if that's the case then should we tack on psychological exams to people who want face lifts and tummy tucks?

You don't think that women know that an abortion involves removing a fetus? What the hell do you think that they think an abortion is then?

I know at least 3 women who have had abortions. Each has had one. None ever wants another. All three did not want the child yet all 3 are emotionally scared because of it. One I have lost contact with but I know that to this day the other two do not regret there decision. It is not easy, people are not just (*)(*)(*)(*)ing without condoms and aborting a pregnancy every few months. Anyone that does is a psychopath to begin with because from what I have seen and heard no sane woman ever wants to have an abortion to begin with. Please, ffs, go talk to some women before you support insane garbage like this. Hell go ask planned parenthood how many regulars come in for abortions. I'd wager the answer would be 0.

VA pay for abortions for low-income women in cases of life-endangering circumstances, rape, or incest, as mandated by federal Medicaid law.3

How many tummy tucks or face lifts do they fund?

What ever gave you that idea? I don't think government should be involved in healthcare at all.

That's why I said I would tend to agree with your statement. I did not stipulate that any decision, whether it's medical or not, must not infringe on the rights of others in order for it to be a "private" decision. In the case of abortion, there is an issue of "competing rights", so it's not as straightforward as, say, purchasing a firearm or ingesting a drug.

Actually, it's about the competing rights and the Constitution.

Invasive medical procedures are never that simple. Modern medical science is not as precise as you might like believe.

Obviously, they know what the general procedure entails, but do they fully appreciate the physiological and psychological implications of getting it? I sincerely doubt they do. And this is true of most Americans, not just women who get abortions.

Emotionally scarred? Sounds like they shouldn't have gotten an abortion then.

Says the person who makes thousands of dollar off of government run healthcare.

I hope the irony is not lost on the forum.

Of course because you and your kind think a private company should have the right to gouge the public.
