A straightforward question: Why do some of you think Trump is not "legitimate"?

The closing of 868 polling places proves nothing:
-You cannot prove a single voter that would have gone to one of those polling places was unable to vote because of it.
-You also cannot prove these polling places were closed in an effort to steal the election.
-You also cannot prove the closing of these polling placed did indeed allow Trump to win the election.

    Your claims mean nothing.

You haven't done any math or statistically analysis to determine any form of logical dedutive reasoning. None.

Polling stations close down, as they often do. They may have an effect on vote tubulation outcomes; they may have no effect whatsoever.

I have no interests in knowing what you think the effect might have been; I'm only interested in the evidence you have that shows there was an effect.

868 closures in areas where minorities live, speaks for itself. For example, Mississippi has 82 counties out of the seven states with the closures totaling 868. That potentially means almost every county in the seven states probably had at least one poll closing per county. The math for voter suppression due to polling station closures is easy to determine and is indisputable. Even if you tried, you couldn't argue the point down based on county numbers in all of the seven states. Closing that many polling stations created a crisis for minority voters getting to a place to vote.

I could argue plenty things; however, if you have no evidence to demostrate that these polling closures had an effect, then I have no obligation to take your claims seriously.

Logic already has. No one with a brain the size of a pea is going to believe, that when you close 868 polling stations across seven states, that there won't be an impact on an election. I don't know anyone with the right frame of mind that would believe that. The math is just too strong of a factor in this scenario to be considered anything else other than massive voter suppression.

You can't argue anything because there exists no tools for you to actually argue with that would turn the math in your favor. The evidence of closures and their numbers is evidence that stands for itself.

If that is what you want to believe, then I have no interest in feather-bedding your delusions. If you can't show any evidence that these policies disproportionately lead to a decline in voting in low-income/minority areas, then I have no reason to take your claims seriously.

    Simple answer...

    1. No (D) after his name on the ballot
    2. Hasn't paid his communist party dues

I agree. Obama's been suppressing Democrat turnout for the last 5 years. Record low participation and corresponding record numbers of Republican officials elected. Clinton also suppressed Democrat votes by failing to energize the base with a lackluster campaign.

    Cheers

Well then, at least 28 states voters have no use for D's. That is a problem the D's have and need to correct. Or the number will be more than 28.

Yes, I do sympathise. If there was question of vote tampering or some issue regarding the election itself then I could see an objection to the legitimacy of the result. However, to date, it is my understanding there is no apparent issue.

It is just beyond belief that people want to blame Russia for the results of these elections. To now turn to the American people and suggest they are so superficial that they will believe anything to sway elections either this way or that is simply insulting to America. I do not suggest that Russia’s hacking and untimely announcements by the FBI sure had some affect but only to the blind brethren of Trump especially since he had already announced his man love of Putin.

As I said, Trump maybe the best thing to hit America and will watch and see, I just don’t see it. But that does not mean he is not legitimate it simply means he is disliked. I believe his words and actions support my theory at present, it will be interesting at the least.

Well, yes of course. But you must realize that this is a question of trust. Have politicians lied to them? Rather. Has there been any vote tampering in the American elections before now? It would be safe to say, yes. That’s all we need to know. Once you lie to your wife she’ll never trust your word completely again. You don’t blame her, so why blame the Americans their scepticism?

Yes, it is insulting to make a clear assumption that the population is so superficial that they will believe anything at all. But they’ve been trained that way so why criticise them for rolling over when they get sight of a biscuit. Really. Honestly. What do you expect of them? They’ve been mauled by thousands of lies all of their lives. How do they spot the truth when they’ve never seen it before?

I don’t know where you are from. I am from Sweden, the pinnacle of everything nice and wonderful, the absolute top Democracy of the world. And look what we are doing with this immigration madness. Here! In Sweden! We’re being pushed and shove and lied to on a massive scale on a daily basis. What happened to “nice and wonderful”? What happened to our standing as the best Democracy in the world? What is happening to us is a microscopic example of what Americans have been subjected to since its inception - from what I imagine. So if you are one of lucky ones and manage to remain isolated from the madness of the west then it won’t be too long before you can criticise us for the same superficial brainless-ness that you see ‘over there’. But this is what makes Trump so admirable. He’s actually taken up the very subject we are now discussing. And he says he’s going to do something about it. What other president has been so bold? Eisenhower. Anyone else? Not to my knowledge.

    I agree completely.

Yes very good points, but I too am finding the immigration madness.

In only a matter of hours Trump will take office and we will see how it goes. There are a lot of predictions going about, the only one I think we can guarantee is that it is going to be interesting...

Because they only listen to and only get their information from people who reinforce their ridiculous notions. Remember...there's a new sheriff in town and his name is Donald Trump. There's also a new justice department. No more slap on the wrist for their violent actions. They will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Many, many of them will suffer the punishments according to law that they never experienced before, as should be.
Once these anarchists get a taste of REAL punishment, I expect that these idiots will start thinking twice before acting like azsholes.

Why do some of you think Trump is not "legitimate"?

Because they don't like him. It really isn't a performance or qualification issue- it's a personal one. The rest of the pitch is just a way for them to lend plausibility to their irrational emotion. I know one woman who hates his hair.

Trump is a very strong person- I mean strong within himself, not by position or money or anything else. Such people have a solid sense of identity and don't pander, can't be manipulated- and often (*)(*)(*)(*) off people who are used to politicians being like that, even though those politicians lied to them and rarely accomplished anything good. We finally have a real CEO in the executive office, and that scares people who like their truth sugar-coated and disguised.

It's also a whole new game, and people are afraid of change- no matter how badly it's needed. While we don't know what will happen over the next fours years, it's obvious that it will be vastly more than what was accomplished over the last four.

And this type of thing is why Trump fanboys don't have a leg to stand on when someone questions his legitimacy.

It's a little late to start crying now boys.

Yeah, so today January 25th trump is ordering investigation into voter fraud, he just cannot believe he lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million,( egomaniac much,) however by going down this rabbit hole he opens up a can of worms that cannot be put back--I welcome this investigation as I feel they will find something that is not favorable to trump,I know he feels confident that his "expert" computer people have erased their footprints, but I'm betting that there is someone smarter than trump's so-called experts----
It's weird that trump would be going down this rabbit hole, but trying to figure out what goes on in this man's head(ew),is he trying to deflect from his Russian involvement, is the CIA getting to close to the truth on the money front, are they getting to close to a collusion charge, violating election laws---in other words---NOT a legitimate election on trump's part----Come on CIA give us some answers!!!! Get this hack out----
